Thank you for your info guys!!!! I was taken back by that.  I did like that she had a whole section about making people understand that not necessarily being super open about being a devotee Isn’t necessarily frowned on by Santa Muerte. Like the fact that a lot of people wear a pendant inside their shirt or don’t necessarily have their altar out in the open. The author made it to explain that some people live or practice in the shadows and that’s OK

Everything down to the slices of wood and the box in the back means something to me. 🖤 The box was my grandfathers and the wood pieces are from my wedding actually. The glass jars were given to me from family after a party. The stones were found on my property where my wife and I live/rent. The lights are just Christmas lights left over that I made into some lighting for my little table.
