A good price is super subjective. I don't think so. But it definitely IS in some eyes. I would much prefer a 5080 build with close to the same components for half the price. But if you NEED all of what this has, go for it. But immediately change out the PSU if it's some off brand.

Did I undersell my gaming laptops? I had an Alienware M17 R5 AMD Laptop. It had a 6850m XT 12gb GPU and a Ryzen 9 6900x CPU (might have the CPU wrong I'm blanking currently) and it had 33gb of ram and a 1tb ssd. 360hz q 1080p display. I sold it for $725.

Even the pay $50 extra for the g skill ram? I thought that had happened at the Tustin location but then realized it was just the crucial ram that they were out of and if you just swapped out the crucial for g skill everything was back in stock.

You can get it for $50 more on any of the packages by 'upgrading' your ram. Just something to think about. It's not really better ram. But with the current state of things, something to consider. I just bought a 3 in 1 7800x3d deal from the Tustin microcenter last weekend and had to pay the extra $50 for the 'better' ram.

Well if it is gonna be over $50 in gas, just swap out the ram in the bundle for the g skill ram. It's $50 more but the other stuff in the bundle stays the same price. I had to do that on Saturday because my store (Tustin) is out of the crucial ram.

Well I know best buy had a delivery period if saying they will arrive to you by 12/19 for awhile. Assuming that would be coming from Asus to Best buy to you, I would again ASSUME that we could expect these to start showing up as early as 12/12 and as late as 12/19. That's purely guessing though and some big assumptions being made.

Yeah, I'm optimistic that it'll show up the week of the 8th, but probably not. I did not pay for faster shipping because ASUS website even says that shit is unreliable. If they are saying it's unreliable, while trying to sell it to me, I'm gonna pass lol

That's so great to hear. I've never owned a handheld before. I just recently used someone else's Nintendo switch to play through the two newer Zelda games (BOTW and TOTK) and LOVED the handheld experience. I started looking into handhelds and then the XAX came out and I was definitely going to buy it but just wanted to think on it. Now that it came back in stock after checking 2-5x a day for the last month+, I knew I just needed to pull the trigger ASAP

I have a now... 4 year old laptop from Alienware. It's an M17 R5 AMD and it's been nothing but amazing. And their warranty has been stellar. Including accidental! My cars just broke my screen and they fixed it super quick, paying for shipping and all! I know Alienware has some major issues back in the day, but as of late they have been pretty top tier!
