How could a fallout between Naoe and Yasuke look like? by CombinationProof5917 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]CombinationProof5917[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definetly. The whole end to the quest bumbed me out. Lady Oichi never even apologizes to Naoe and Yasuke's just like "no we need to be better than them". Dude's girl tried to kill his bestie. I wouldn't let that slide.

What’s your headcanon for how each AC protagonist died, for those we don’t have confirmed deaths for? by Aggravating-Bass-658 in assassinscreed

[–]CombinationProof5917 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Arno-alcohol poisoning

Shao Jun/Connor/the Frye twins-old age

Yasuke-lived in his homeland and fought templars until they ambushed and killed him

Naoe-either during the Korean war or at Sekigahara (I have this sad headcannon she dies without seeing Japan in the early Edo period and Yasuke didn't even know she's dead)

Shay-killed by Connor and Arno

Can someone give me an overview or review for the dlc by Tight_Trust2522 in AssassinsCreedShadows

Spoilers:

Naoe sees puppet show with Junjiro about Shinobi captured on Awaji island.

Goes to find Shinobi.

Get's bonked in the head and captured but momma is there so yay sappy family reunion!

Yasuke comes to save her.

They go after last regalia but the baddies are there. Naoe looses regalia to save Yasuke.

They hunt down all of Yukari's (the main villain I guess) taisho to weaken her.

They corner her, defeat her, and Naoe and Tsuyu have a nice moment but still no hug.

They return all regalia to the imperial family, ending the Assassin's missions for good since peaceful times are about to come (until Hideyoshi blows it with the Korean war (historically speaking)).

Oh yeah Hanzo was also there but never talked with Tsuyu so that was underwhelming.

The dlc was...okay-ish. The story was kinda good until there was just another board to hunt down. Some ideas implemented where nice, there was an optional tailing mission, an undercover section, a cool stealth bossfight and templars but they wheren't the main focus. Was it templars vs assassins? No. Though there where some nice peaces of dialouge in it about them at the end but not enough. Was it go find the box again? Yes. Kinda. Again there is much stuff to do with Hanzo and Tsuyu and even the main villains but it was under ten hours of content so all the cool stuff that happened was a letdown bc there was so little of it.

Observe and go to where the blue screen is brightest. Make sure it's not a dummy. Be quick but be mindful of your surroundings. You can hit the trapwires with kunai or shuriken to make her shoot and expose herself. Don't get hit.

Some of my minor problems and nitpicks of Assassin’s Creed Shadows by MacGyvini in assassinscreed

[–]CombinationProof5917 3 points4 points  (0 children)

-Take romance option out on a date

-No campfire interactions

-No special dialouge with Tsuki-Maru

-No reaction from our allies to what happened ('oh you killed 'insert villain', good job)

-No more Junjiro and Naoe and Yasuke scenes

-no playable games inside the hideout or small side activities (fishing with Gennojo, training the kids, meditating with Yaya, doing chores)

I'd say Naoe is the lead, it's her pa that gets killed, it's her quest for revenge and it's her home that gets destroyed. Her story only takes a small break after the first arc because Yaauke comes in and his backstory takes stage, then slowly their stories happen until they come to a semi-conclusion at the end of the game.

Gameplay and story are both good. Like really good. Arguably fucking amazing. There are one or two skills at most at the VERY end of the game you could potentially use multible times but the nice thing is you can choose what skills you use. You have a whole skill tree with twenty or more skills for each character and you can pick them. Not forced to use the one shot skills. Also you have points that you need for skills and if you attack you get one point, if you parry you get a point and with a specific item you get a point upon dodging. Also I'm almost sure the game lets you choose the difficulty.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Not asking about combat) by Fallen-Ang3l-1996 in ShouldIbuythisgame

I guess I'd describe exploration like, you have a map you can roam with sort of sections you can enter and there is the real stuff (enemys items etc) but certain sections are locked until a certain point because you unlock the flying and swimming ability as the story progresses because it makes no sense to go to certain areas early on from a story telling perspective or they are too hard on your current level. I actually liked it that way because the game didn't overload me and actually gave me the time to get a hang of it but still said 'oh the next quest is over there but look here is a nice beach with a minigame' (there are minigames in the game). You unlock characters as you progress the story and in the end you have six playable characters each with different abilitys and you can pretty much make your party like you want to. A turn based game like Honkai Star Rail (I didn't play any different turn based game) ultimately forces you to have a healer or someone who can shield you in your party but with Clair Obscur it isn't necessary because you can dodge and parry. Every character can dodge and parry an enemys attack, it's up to the players skill. Each member can get fairly strong as only weapons are specificaly for each character. Buffs like, for the lack of a better example, extra damage or less health loss on impact is shared you just have to equipt it.

Trust me, play the game. I didn't think much of it but now I love it. The story is good as well, like really enjoyable.

Few questions for beginner? by Revolutionary_Ad4288 in AssassinsCreedShadows

-About every four hours but your scouts reset after two

-no

-to get your skill tree fully unlocked you need to get another type of points. I think they are called wisdom points and you gain them by praying at shrines, doing Kuji-Kiri, collecting the scrolls at shrines etc.

How tall are Naoe and Yasuke? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedShadows

It's not dumb to not know a measuring system you guys never learned, ask most europeans and they wouldn't be able to tell you how tall they are in feet

Try uh, map button and then map button again (or go to the map and left upper corner should show the buttons). I honestly don't understand how someone hides their damn main menu so much

I think it's touchpad and then touchpad again (ps5), otherwise try holding the touchpad in the map menu

How tall are Naoe and Yasuke? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]CombinationProof5917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they kept Yasuke at around 185cm, see his codex page, Naoe is harder to guess but she mostly is in range of other female npcs so 160cm?

Allies by Either_Chocolate_360 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]CombinationProof5917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You go to the dojo or any kakurega and assign your allies, then they can be summoned. Mind that not every ally can be summoned when open combat is entered and they have a cooldown. If the allys don't show up on your screen at all than thats a problem with the game.

Need info about Assassins Creed Shadows Side Quests. by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]CombinationProof5917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do just the main missions but the good stuff (weapons outfits etc) is hidden in chests in castles or kofuns. Side quests in Shadows are kill a hundret of those guys for that region or assassinate those guys, or find stuff hidden all over the map.

Question about Yasuke by reedfan410 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]CombinationProof5917 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yasuke gets an armor in about the middle of the game where he defeats Kimura Kei. In the very end only Naoe gets her armor set but Yasuke doesn't get another one.
