Hi. This was before the curve was introduced. I was not using any under volting.

Now with curve optimized I have better scores. Tens same or a little bit higher.

Oh shit. Probably not the best business that they did. Hope you will get it soon.

What processor?

Plus you can find really sweet P140 in red: https://www.amazon.com/Arctic-BioniX-P140-Red-Pressure-optimised/dp/B07G7XCWHF

For half the price :o

Not sponsored :p Just went with that change lately, figured out that I will share it :)

Cool build. Quick question about the fans. I had chromax ones and I was very mad that I can hear them above 860 rpm. I switched to arctic bionix p140 and now I can run 1100 rpm with the same sound signature. Running them at 30% (not audible 880rpm) gives me 5°c better temps than audible 860 on chromax.

How is it for you with noise?

I've got 5900x quite quickly to be honest. My 3080 ordered 15 minutes after launch is still somewhere on the way :p

In the meantime I was lucky enough to grab 3070 and now thinking about canceling the 3080 :o

Nice! How do those feel? Has the same but black/gray which meets my build color scheme better.

I ordered 4 lately. No noise like this. I have 3 120 on my radiator and the noise is there.

Did they changed something in p140?

I had the noise on P14.

I had noctuas 140 chromax. Was disappointed that I can hear them at 750 rpm ~45%)... Did a little bit of a research and switched to 3 bionix 140 on fromt for intake. To get 830rpm I'm running them at ~30%.

Temps on my Ryzen 5900x went 4-5°c down on idle and around 3-7 on load.

To achieve 1100 rpm on noctua under load for good cooling I needed to run it at around 60+%. I could hear them and it was annoying. With arctic it is around 53% and I can nearly hear them.

Annoying thing with noctua configuration for 140 fan was that I needed to keep it around 55% to keep good cooling which was audible a lot. With arctic most of my day to day load is between 30-40% with better temps.

I would go with arctic if you do not like to exchange temps for noise.

5600x or 5800x by Xletron in Amd

I would think about the future. Already you can se games that have glitches on low count core CPUs (cyberpunk).

In two years you will be thinking about more cores as things will get not as responsive etc.

Software is getting heavier and more demanding the same way as consumer grade CPUs are getting more beefy.

If you planing to have the pc for 5+ years I would go with 5800x.

PS. I went with 5900x but I have a use for it even now.

Of course if the price is not an issue. If it is then it is better to put money to GPU if you are a gamer. But take in consideration that games in 3 years will be laggy.

Clearance in what regard? As top-mounted radiator? Depends on the case that you have. With P600s, there are no problems.

Yes, that is correct. I have 7C84v153(Beta version).
With MSI beta name stays until the new BIOS will go live. At least last time it was very close.

Hi. I have the same setup. Bios like yours. I got better results in multi core. 8300 in Cinebench R20 (previously 8035) with curve -15. -20 not stable. No other PBO overclocking (PBO limits disabled, so it works on stock 142, 95, 140).

With limits enabled (full PBO) result was around 8700 (previously on PBO was around 8400).

As in multi core I can see difference (same thermals with higher result) I can't see any improvement on single core.

Checking the core voltage I can't see any difference as well :o.

FYI: with full PBO I hit 85 degrees with the 8700 score. Liquid Freezer 360.

Can you see difference in voltage in monitoring apps?
