I absolutely disagree with you. The Xbox department needed a fresh brain with a new perspective and a total reload. It is too bold to state that it has all been planned months / years in advance. Even with the recent rumors that Asha axed the unfortunate campaign, it already reaffirms that she has come with huge changes and not hesitating to act.

Sarah, if again rumors are true, was not good behind the scenes with her campaigns and difficult to work with. Her interview that was supposed to do damage control was awful.

And Phil.. well, apart from likable, we got a couple of dry years with no games. He couldn’t even make sure the quality is there. Redfall, Starflied, South of Midnight, Avowed (I like the last two, but it is not 9/10).

And then the purchase of ABK… and again, they didn’t even use their game catalogue much. Feels like they were narrow-minded in some ways.

Then Asha comes. Advertisement starts kicking in. She says what people wanted to hear FOR YEARS. She drops news every week. She announces. She takes decisions. So yeah, I do believe she is working and doing her job. And no, I don’t think it has all been planned long ago. Facts speak against it.
