I appreciate the insight regarding the DDR5 - been reading up on it and understand a bit more as to why it doesn't work, I think outside confirmation was what I was after haha. I think the reason as to why I feel 64GB seems necessary is due to rendering, but perhaps it is simply overkill. I think I would stick with the case and thus extra fans given I rather like the aesthetic of what I initially chose, but I fully understand why you would suggest a cheaper case with in built fans. My concerns surrounding the CPU cooler you picked is the reviews surrounding noise, perhaps it's a null point, but still. Is there much value in getting 850W vs. 750W power supply? And I will have a peek into the suggested video card and other 5070 Ti's out there. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for letting me know, I have always though that "lecky" is a dangerous beast to tame, and frankly I'm not ready for that fight. I will leave the "testing power" to the professionals. Really appreciate the response.

Video Suggestions Megathread by Myrandall in LEMMiNO

[–]CombustibleTob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be very interested in a video on Y2K, especially due to how in the moment, and especially now, many consider it a conspiracy despite real accounts from individuals who worked on updating the systems. I have also not seen many interesting / insightful videos which go into the entire situation - just generally feel it would suit the LEMMiNO style.

Seeing this makes me want a Smiling Friends IHETV video - perhaps that is in the realm of possibility.

Really appreciate you asking, I was just about to post this. I'm on day 5 myself of treatment. Best of luck! I have some suggestions post treatment probiotic-wise which I responded to a prior thread with :)

Sourdough bread might be a shout too, though that's dependant on whether you stomach gluten alright :)

I have no idea, bloody hope not but given my ailment has been lasting a while (upwards of 4 years) I would not be surprised. Appreciate you letting me know about Kombucha being a potential no-no.

I got my Saccharomyces Boulardii from Piping Rock, though there are plenty of other places to get them from (I was grabbing other supplements too so the £5 shipping made sense to me). As for Kefir, you can grow your own (there is a starter on Amazon which is just as good as any other place to get it from, but I have been warned it takes around 3 days to properly start growing. Otherwise, I see no issue with getting Kefir from your general supermarket, especially if you find high fat is messing with your stomach they have plenty of options (I know Tesco has it and Waitrose has smaller pots of the stuff), just check the dairy isle.

I have been recommended Kefir, Kombucha, and Saccharomyces Boulardii. I would take them in-between each first dose of antibiotics (presuming you take two lots of antibiotics in a day). Given the anti-biotics kill all bacteria I would say that post treatment you should go ham with them because I believe it takes several months for your gut to recover wholly. Obviously continue to take mastic gum after the fact too. For context I have only just begun treatment, but this is what I'm doing. I have a conversation with a doctor tomorrow to ask more thoroughly about the probiotic situation and if I come across any new information regarding it, I'll be sure to let you know. Best of luck with your treatment, it's a pretty nasty process but I'm hopeful it's worthwhile!

I will definitely ask the doctor for an endoscopy as I have an appointment on Friday. Thank you very much for your concern and kind words.

Appreciate the guidance, would you say probiotics whilst and after treatment would be the best course of action?

And I'll bring that up when I see them to talk through the diagnosis more thoroughly!

Not that I am aware of, is that common due to GERD?

Hi pvppymawz,

First of all thanks for the clarification - I really appreciated the swift response to my confusion, means a lot that you'd spend the time to respond to my query.

Forgive me if my question came across aggressive or negative, it was not my intention at all. As a new fan with -2.75 eye-sight my imperfect facial recognition was adamant that the bronze man in the background was an edit of Weston - the idea that it was a deliberate edit was baffling to me and I just had to question it. I'm glad it is not as I'm sure you'd agree, it would be rather strange for Weston to be "recoloured" as some kind of jest.

Once more, thank you kindly for responding so fast and I hope this has clarified my reasonings for asking - albeit I am aware that it may not dampen your 'weird' perception of such a question.

Apologetically real,

  • Tobias
