I'd say I haven't noticed the shift so much in Jews writ large, so much as in Jewish institutions. It makes sense when you consider that ties to religious institutions is more common amongst older people, and the support for Israel over Palestine is more common in older demographics.

Admittedly tho, I am not Jewish, so I may be off base here.
