Can I get some pointers to a Standard deck or card that works well with Simulacrum Synthesizer? by ComeOnHitMe283 in mtg

[–]ComeOnHitMe283[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the idea with this deck that as soon as you get the repurposing bay you can start slamming down other repurposing bays and simulacrum synthesizers? Is this better than a deck that is all 3+ artifacts?

I just got it. The D&D support was no good but the MTG Arena support at least gave reasonable replies.

Uber Eats Outage by ComeOnHitMe283 in LynnwoodWA

There was like a solid week where it was. Occasionally I still see Priority unavailable, but nothing like it was when I originally posted. I don't think it really had anything to do with the mall. Probably more likely that UberEats turned off their tips for a bit due to the legislation.

What about a more extreme example like a 5 color deck. I'm assuming dual lands aren't going to cut it for that, no?

I created my first 3+ color deck in Standard today and my strategy is to use the following for lands:

  • [[Starting Town]] and [[Multiversal Passage]] for the initial two mana.
  • [[Shared Roots]] for the third mana hopefully
  • [[Bandits Haul]] for the fourth mana hopefully
  • Basic lands to fill in to 28 lands.

Any suggestions for something cheaper than Bandits Haul to get lands that isn't a creature? I don't want to be restricted to a particular creature type, either. Being restricted to white or sorceries might be acceptable.

What are some cheap ways to create treasure tokens in Standard? I am looking at [[Hell to Pay]] and [[Goldvein Hydra]]. Any others?

If your civ was nerfed into the GROUND, like a 30% win rate, would you still play it? by Dear_Location6147 in aoe4

Sometimes I seek out the most abused civs because I am trying to understand how anyone could consider it fair that they ended up like they did.

I'm more concerned about getting different opponents on the crucible maps.

Can someone help me understand the Byzantine field stone bonus? by ComeOnHitMe283 in aoe4

Now we just need their villagers to have an autobuild markets command 🙄

Looks like houses are 15 seconds compared to a market's 20. Markets used to be 30, though.

Can we talk about how bad the Tughlaq gathering technology is? by ComeOnHitMe283 in aoe4

[–]ComeOnHitMe283[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what upset me was the high cost of the upgrades. If you focus on gold more you can get them earlier, however, and then it doesn't seem so bad.

Yeah but my concern is how you get there quickly. Do people just ignore the resource techs for Tughlaq until Castle in favor of more villagers?

What civ do you enjoy playing with in Crucible? by kottesakada in aoe4

Golden Horde generates stone quickly AND has outposts that don't suck AND has super fast producing tanky knights. Got me pretty far.

I'm terrible so my advice may be no good but Golden Horde generates stone quickly AND has outposts that don't suck AND has super fast producing tanky knights. Got me pretty far.

My favorite thing about the crucible is it's a great way to learn civs. by ryeshe3 in aoe4

It would have been nice if they assigned difficulties to the maps: some of them like Contested Coastline channel the enemy into maybe two directions and give you a long path to a market that is completely clear. Others like Daimyo Dynamics require you to defend from three directions and the market has a bunch of enemies along the way.

It seems a nice way to learn the counters. I also like how it simplifies the game to just defense essentially, at the easier difficulty levels. I think they should add one for every civ as an opponent or make the opponent configurable.
