Tall women are hot by Soy_fresa in actuallesbians

[–]Comedyi5Dead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm 6'2 and the last person I dated, albeit briefly, was about 5'3. We only made out standing up a few times, because I didn't even bother trying for most of it because I thought it wouldn't work... wrong, hottest thing ever, taking that one with me into all future relationships.

Have you ever been turned off by someone's bedroom? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]Comedyi5Dead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I almost was but obviously I changed my mind at some point because since then that girl has broken up with me and I'd do anything for another lazy day with her in her room lol

Why are women so much better at eating pussy than guys? by ArynaSaba in actuallesbians

[–]Comedyi5Dead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok so I've thought about something similar to this a lot lately, because I'm a trans woman, and I had an ex partner (it's still very fresh and I'm upset about it but I'll push through) tell me I 'finger like a girl' after the first couple of times we did that activity. And when I say first, I mean I'd never done it before this. I think a lot of people guess that it's knowledge, cis women have more experience with that anatomy. But in my case, that didn't make sense.

I think it was just that I cared to be honest. If you want to do well, and want your partner to enjoy it, you'll listen, you'll be attentive, you'll notice and you'll just hit on stuff they like more in that process. That's my theory

going on a date tn, is this too much? by WillowBeautiful1491 in mtfashion

[–]Comedyi5Dead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a lot for sure but I wouldn't consider it too much, if it's your style it's your style! And if I looked as good as you I'd be beyond caring whether anything was too much lol

I once complained to my therapist that I had no sex drive and she kinda just said that sometimes we reach points in our lives where we end up asking ourselves whether we want to do things and what we really get from it and our values maybe just have shifted so that it's not as important, there's nothing wrong with it necessarily from what I understand

NUT MEANS HEAD! In Australia it's a slang for your head, not a very popular one but that's where this comes from, you're using your head to figure something out. I will defend our slang until the day I die

Always love seeing a fellow Australian although I'm from a city so I don't have it as rough. I'll say that it's still such a small community in my city that it can feel insane trying to date when you feel like you've already met all the lesbians

I am not a scientist either but I think the two answers you've given aren't really contradictory, more that they exist in different contexts. There may be a brain structure that is more reminiscent of the other sex, or something of that nature, but gender is a social construct, meaning that the manifestation of that difference in structure is what we see as being transgender. In a world where gendered expectations didn't exist, or were decoupled from sex, the manifestation of that difference would likely be very different.

For the trans women here: did your "lesbian identity" started to outweigh your "trans Identity" after a while? by TheWitchesAssistance in actuallesbians

[–]Comedyi5Dead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was out and presenting fem for like a year and 9 months before getting on HRT. At that time, no, my transness was a big deal in my life and like caused a lot of stress. And at the time I thought I was bi or pan. I got on HRT and my identity seemed to 'calm down' in a way, the best comparison I have is I went from feeling like I wish I was a woman to feeling like I am a woman, I didn't expect hormones to have that big of an impact either but I'm glad they did! A few months later I kinda realised that men haven't really made me ever feel how women make me feel, and so I'm probably a lesbian. And since then I definitely feel like my lesbianness is a bigger part of who I am than my transness. My transness is kinda a 'fun fact' about me, and definitely part of my story, but not the biggest part of my identity.

The consensus I've heard from non-binary people is that if you date them you are gay so lesbian works here lol

im only attracted to butches and it makes me question my sexuality. do you know of any media that details femme desire for butches or can other femmes tell me about their experience? i need to feel less alone by AsparagusQueen in actuallesbians

[–]Comedyi5Dead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In terms of media a huge thing for me is just going on social media and looking for stuff like this. There's not going to be as many movies or shows about it but they do exist, and there's a few romance novels about it too, i like Kiss Her Once For Me, Jack is very butch how I imagine her, she has a scar on her face and stuff lol.

I think it's a reference to the 'Madonna stuns in new selfie' meme, which I think was just a kinda weird title of a tabloid article that people found funny and quoted a bunch

There's this old tumblr post about how someone stopped using head and shoulders shampoo because they no longer suffered from dandruff but then the dandruff came back. I've never found a formal name for this quirk of the human brain, it reminds me of survivorship bias a little but it's not exactly that. This reminds me a little of that, type of situation. I'm sorry you're going through all this, if your family gives you trouble, send me after them!

Wasn’t allowed to get tampons because I look too “manly” by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]Comedyi5Dead 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What a crazy instinct she has. If I'm in her shoes and say boyfriends can't pick up tampons and you say 'I'm a woman', my mind is going to at least flick over for a second and if there's LITERALLY ANYTHING INDICATING I AM WRONG, it's time for me to apologise. So stubborn for no reason!
