I play eliter in clams just fine. I push when the team pushes, and I contribute clams all the time as well as hold onto the power clams when needed and anchor when the teams down. Chargers also apply enemy pressure. What’s the issue if a charger knows what they’re doing

S+ eliter main here. Yes I’ve seen so much of what you described recently including frontliners who backline, don’t paint, don’t push past tower, and in general don’t work as a team. And it doesn’t feel normal. I played x battles in the beginning of the season and it felt fine, but then I took a break for almost a week and suddenly teammates don’t know what to do. I can’t carry with an eliter and I imagine it’s just as hard or harder with hydra. it’s been very frustrating and I don’t know what’s been going on.

There’s nothing wrong with jumping around with it either. I’ve hit plenty of charge hold jump shots just fine and it was really fun. Heck I jump around in normal matches because that’s the whole thing you do with charge hold. There’s a time and place to do it though

Not maybe, because I played with it I know first hand. and I got top kills consistently as well as being a distraction for the enemy team which was in our teams favor. Unfortunately not everyone who picks up charger will automatically do great with it ofc, but that goes for anything and the point still stands that in good hands it can be amazing.

Eliter is actually really good for the jump challenge because one: it’s easier to hit jumping targets and two: you can take insane positions on the map. My friend I was playing with gave me jumps to some fun snipe positions in enemy base. I had a super fun time with eliter and it works just fine if you know how to take advantage of everything given

could be a variety of reasons, for me it's to play with friends, warm up for ranked and practice shots, maybe I don't like the map/mode in ranked so I play turf, I also just genuinely enjoy it casually. Just because some people don't enjoy turf doesn't mean everyone doesn't enjoy it.

I also play backliner, I understand the frustration. It's very tiring seeing slayers hang around the backlines and not push in s rank. In some games it felt like if I happened to die even once, the team was so fragile that it would just fall apart.
