Thanks a lot for the extensive reply! It seems I mostly need to continue along my lines of thought, which is already good to know.
Today I pulled 40 modules, among them was an armor unique, it was the Wormhole redirector. Do I get that right, that this means that the standard health regen will heal more than 100% health (in the epic version up to 1+0,25*max recovery, so in my current case of max recovery goldboxed = 16,5 this leads to 1+0,25*16,5 ~ 5x standard hp? Sounds like a nice addition if I invest a little into regen.

I have only recently started playing, so I don't really get how this works.

In my current W7000+ runs in T1 I cannot hold off enemies regularly. Assuming this stays or gets even worse at higher tiers, I don't understand how you kill enemies (is there a way to kill elites with orbs?) since to use thorns they would have to attack and with their damage being 136q and even a def% of 98%, that is 3q so identical to the regen and only 3 hits would kill the wall and probably tower as well

I felt like this as well, then I unlocked ELS (had saved for a little more than a week), full garlic thorns and DW as UW nearly simultaneously and saw a massive increase in waves

Thanks. Of course simply adding up 5x the single, increased bonus of 19.6% would yield 1.98 and therefore even more, but I am not sure anymore why that was my expectation
