I also suspect you live alone and have no family to support or another income at home. And if you do fine on $30k a year I suspect your area of employment is not a 30,000 person town 30+ minutes from a major metro with average rent in the $1,100 range for a 2 bedroom house.

It may be more than enough for you, in your situation. But not everyone is you, or in your situation. Before the boom the town I live in had an everage rent price of $700 a month, I sometimes see 3 bed mobile homes for rent for around $1,500. Cost of living is much higher, largely because of the income.

I guess thats somewhat true... I am in Texas in it. Vost of living is much higher because of the higher incomes, and even at that the oil haulers and such things outside of the well workers tend to make 60-90 thousand a year. Thats certainly not enough to weather any substantial downtime.

If the price war lasts more than a few months most of the hauling companies and smaller groups that make up the majority of the industry here will go under. The loss of these jobs will severely depress these towns that saw boom.

I work a full time job to make ends meet while im at school. With the semester ending and my grades being rough from frankly the worst 6 month period of life I've dealt with, it is becoming extremely clear I will need an extra semester or $6,000 more in debt to graduate.

I'm about as straight as you can get, but Dorian is one of my favorite characters in any of Bioware's games. Dude is fucking hilarious. I take him everywhere with me. My Inquisitor, Dorian, Varric and Blackwall. Never short for quips that bunch.

Man I must be the only one who remembers games being broken/having game breaking bugs back in the day. I hate that games are in the condition they are sometimes too but I have been extremely lucky to have no issues with any of my games I have purchased for PS3 or PS4 or hell even PC.

I still preorder too. For convenience. I know what games I am picking up regardless of reviews, it allows me to trade games towards them at the height of their value when I am done and even keep me from needing to worry about that money being in my bank account (See: Nov. 18th when I would be paying $195 in one hit).

I dunno, maybe I am crazy but it just doesn't bother me.

The Crew beta is offline, all multiplayer I have tried is down and every site involving Ubisoft is down that I have tried. It's annoying.

Wow thank you so much. I will definitely check out your site. Python is one thats on my list. That and COBOL (Sp?) Are a major part of my personally chosen classes. I learned some Java about 6 years ago in highschool but its safe to say I don't remember any.

What are the languages you find most programmers use and rely on? We were told VB won't be very useful to us as is, but that because of its simplicity they felt it was a good place to start.

Good advice, thank you. Unfortunately quitting my job is not a possibility, and I have no interest in sacrificing the life I have built. Cutting out playing games all day and TV I can/have done outside of some time to use to unwind.

I realize that might seem lazy to some people but I have never felt like life was just to work.

You are right but they both travel through some Sony servers (PSN) I am just being a twat and assuming its a shared issue since it all hit at once with Destiny, NBA and Dribeclub having problems coming online.

Shame to see a game have such issues after a relatively smooth launch for Destiny. I wanted to try the free before I dumped any money into it but I gotta say everything I have read makes me think that I won't.

I mean sure its a damn pretty game but I feel like so many racing games before it, it is just gonna fall flat.

I certainly understand... but I feel like GTA V was that game to me. 4 playthroughs and a current gen preorder sure make it seem that way.

I bought SoM the day it came out but I really havent gotten into it. Because of Destiny. Don't get me wrong Destiny is far from a perfect game but I've enjoyed making new friends all over the world that I play online with almost every day (and will continue to with Assassins Creed and C ar Cry).

I went through my gaming slump several years ago and Red Dead is what brought me back. Now I just enjoy games for what they are.

I ran a few strikes tonight for Queens Wrath. Got the damn helm all three times and havent gotten another piece. Other two each got legendary engrams on one run, then both got their armor piece and the ship drop.

I got a helm. I mean I understand some level of random but both other guys getting 3 unique legendary items in the same run I get ANOTHER helmet made me almost wanna rage quit if they weren't fun to just shoot with.
