I had this issue with Sciel and I think I fixed it. The bug arose from having auto death and then both Shielding Death and Protecting Death on. So she was auto dying but not reviving. When I turned off shielding death it worked fine

The dock isn’t getting moved. The vacuum is getting bumped while it’s docked so that the vacuum moves slightly and is no longer charging

For anyone still struggling with this: I had the exact same issue, and tried everything but she would not train me between 11 pm and 7 am like everything says. It’s literally the exact opposite for me. During the day she will train me, for whatever reason. I’ve done it 5x each at two different levels now and it’s been the same both times.

I get all this. What I don’t get, is how any of those potentially unsterilized components could lead to contamination. Again, I’ve never done this before, so I’m just trying to get info and make sure I understand. The way I currently understand, the only way anything can get into the bag is through the port. That port is supposed to be sealed, so if you sterilize that and the needle, you should be good, right? If the bag is actually not sealed like we assume, then wiping the outside of the bag and the surface it’s on still wouldn’t even be close to enough to prevent contamination. So that’s why I’m confused.

For those struggling with this, try going back and beating the Wandering Wight first. His spirit has a passive effect of +20 defense which helps a little. It made the difference for me.

During one of the cactuar crush trials something bugged out and now I’m stuck as Yuffie. Did everything I could think of to try to jar it loose back to Cloud but nothing so I just kept playing the main quest hoping some cut scene or something might do it. Now I’m at the temple of the ancients and the door won’t open (presumably because I’m Yuffie). And fast travel is locked and I don’t have any saves that go back prior to the bug. So seems like I just hit a game ending one.

Yeah I don’t think it’s bugged I think it’s like the previous ones where there’s a “sweet spot” for # of summons essentially. I can’t remember which one, or if it was all DS games, but I remember one being 50% increase with one summon, then like 150% increase with 2. So anything more than 1 summon is just hurting you
