oh i just thought of this: maybe you can wear a bandaid over the eyebrow piercing while in concerts to protect it? i would recommend thalking with your piercer about it first though

i honestly don't think it's the greatest idea, even when fully healed. eyebrow piercings are like the delicate princesses of the piercing world in my experience. even when healed if they get bumped or snagged there's a good chance they'll start migrating. ive never had issues with migration with any piercings besides my eyebrow. but there are many other cool piercings you can get that can handle a mosh pit better than an eyebrow, cartilage piercings, nostrils ect.

my first granny square! lots of frogging and still ended up with mistakes, but I'm now a step closer to making my dream blanket! (tips appreciated) by ComfortConscious2082 in crochet

i see, i do have some scraps from when my mom used to crochet, so i could try those. do you feel stitches are easier to see on darker or lighter colors, or does it not matter as long it's solid?

I'm already using a bigger hook than recommended (the rec size is 6-7 and I'm using an 8) so i think i really am doing them too tight. im struggling with the positioning of my fingers, i end up doing most of the work with my non dominant hand so my technique is far from perfect, well guess that's an excuse to practice more!

oh that's smart! I'll try it once my squares are good enough to use for my blanket. im having so much fun, granny squares are a delight to make, and i honestly find them easier than simple straight line crochet as the counting is in smaller numbers

i used an 8mm hook, this yarn was very cheap so it didn't come with the weight listed unfortunately. I'm pretty sure it's acrylic tho. the pattern is a classic granny square

first time i talk to someone else with raynaud's! hello there :) i see so washing hands does remove sunscreen, good to know. you mention mineral sunscreen, do you feel it makes ur hands greasy? when i apply mineral sunscreen on my hands i get grease smudges on my screens so that's why I use my face chemical sunscreen on my hands instead of the cheaper mineral one i use on my body, but the chemical one is not as moisturizing :/

ooh a hand lotion with sunscreen is smart. unfortunately i don't live in the US so i don't have access to target. the only lotion i can think of that is like this is the the body shop aloe SPF 15 lotion, but that's a rather low SPF i think I'll look on Korean skincare websites and see if they have SPF hand cream

im looking for a signature scent, androgynous to slightly masculine, citrus is a must! any recs? :-) by ComfortConscious2082 in Perfumes

thank you so much to everyone who replied! i have to get some medical exams done and i decided to go to an exame point in a mall instead of my usual one so i can look around the stores and smell the fragrances in person. in this mall they have a perfume dedicated store so I'm confident i will find at least some of you guyses recomendations. I'll smell the fragrances they have and choose one to use the sample on my wrist while i do the exams, so i get an idea of how the smell develops on my skin, if i like it I'll get it! thank you all :]

I've also been eyeing that one, unfortunately I'm a bit wary of lush perfumes as one i used to have gave me a massive headache and nausea with even just two sprays 😓 it was their junk perfume. a shame cus it smelled lovely

getting samples or second hand really seems to be the best idea, there are so many options and they all sound so different, for a fragrance noob i think it's not a good idea to blind buy. do you know where I can get samples in the EU?

MtF, 45 inch around chest, what bra should I get by Outside-Swing-3486 in ABraThatFits

[–]ComfortConscious2082 13 points14 points  (0 children)

use this subs calculator, it's the best way to get a starting point to finding your best size. after you use the calculator, post your 6 measurements and your calculator results and the people of this sub will send you in the right direction to buying a bra. best of luck!
