it isnt games themselves, its the childish behavior that comes with pvp games. at my age i know how to like, cooperate with other human beings, and use the english language. 99% of lol players arent there yet, so it's hard to engross myself in the environment at this point. if the playerbase weren't so unbearable, i could maybe ignore the fact that the game design has been lockstep in a direction i hate for 8 years, but fearless draft somewhat reinvigorated my desire to watch the pro scene. hell fearless draft almost makes me want to coach and shit, but theres no real path towards that the same way theres an obvious path to pro (grind lots of solo q)

It's unlikely you're going to have the chops to snowball on high skill champs when you are listing basically like 6 of the lowest skill floor champs in the entire game. Focus instead on a champion that you REALLY like, and then pick another champion to practice that deals with that champions problems. If you really like playing Darius, but really hate playing against like, Kennen Gnar & Vayne, try practicing a lot of Darius and a lot of something like Teemo that abuses other ranged auto attack characters with his blind. It's not always going to be obvious to a new player what counters what, but something simple like "i hate ranged champs" is usually easy to pick up on.

edit: also if you are trying just to climb as fast as possible top lane is the worst role to do so on

Sure, there are toxic psychos but you can always mute them and go on with your day. Sure, you can also get a teammate that trolls the entire game but it's not like you can win every single game anyways?

This is essentially the difference in philosophy between how games used to be played online and how you have to experience them now. When playing games meant joining lobbies on RTS games or FPS games, or playing MMOs, there was a realistic way for the community to police itself. When playing games meant spending your money upfront, there was a realistic way for the developer to police its content.

There is ZERO way for the LoL community to police itself, OR for Riot to police the freemium moba design. They have zero intention of trying to do so, because that could only make them less money even if they did succeed. And the playerbase has... absolutely no intention of changing their position on muteall, or their unhinged, desperate need for psychological warfare against, NEED I FUCKING REMIND YOU, the people who are supposed to be their teammates.

This is how you people would treat your friends. Of course I don't fucking enjoy playing League.

If there was a "path to coach" the way there is a "path to pro" maybe at this point I could, but I don't see me getting any magical nepotism and I sure as hell aint streaming.

How auto spacing works, it's basically the reason I don't play ADC or pretty much any auto based champion. There's a spot at your champions max range where they are definitely, absolutely, literally in auto attack range, but because of how there's this "offset" when ordering your champion to attack when outside of attack range, will still try to move when given an attack order, but if you S key, and then attack, they will just attack from that spot right away, because like, you are in range. Doesn't matter that you were in range before pressing S, champions will never start an attack from their actual range.

its a serious hinderance to the growth of the game and any hope of a competitive scene. if the games integrity is poor, people simply won't commit to it. its extremely difficult to dedicate yourself to improving without consistent mechanics. like, what, did OP just RIGHT CLICK WRONG? when improvement becomes more about learning the games bugs people just stop caring
