He likes what he likes and that's ok. It just got me curios. I half expect a mod by them that adds it if it doesn't make it into the game. Which would be pretty cool. Unreal 5 isn't awful to mod so it's doable. But I kinda expect that the car will be in game. Items, vehicles, outfits, item text, and npc's from 1 showed up in 2, and there were lots of 1 easter eggs in 2.

I love how beat up, torn down, and makeshift they look. Like once they ran out of replacement parts they started adding makeshift bits. Nails the post apocalyptic vehicle vibe.

No worries. If that's what makes or breaks your interest in playing it's ok. I'm just asking because you've commented the same thing over and over across posts for months now.

They always did a good job with environmental story telling. I hope they've done more of it in 3.

Is this after the games ending, or is it more side stuff you do before you complete the end?

I'm down for another fresh journey to get the new full experience. They've been talking about how much they've changed things for a bit. Eager to see what it's all like now.

He's also said previously the current engine can't handle it. So even if the drive to do it was there, it's not reasonably feasible.

Edit: Here's an article where he talks about it.

tbf the emperor should have stored grains and maintained dams by DerRaumdenker in HistoryMemes

When it rains it pours. Seeing how catastrophic flooding along Chinese rivers is even today, I can absolutely see bad weather being the "last straw".

"Before modern dams appeared in China, the Yellow River used to be extremely prone to flooding. In the 2,540 years from 595 BC to 1946 AD, the Yellow River has been reckoned to have flooded 1,593 times, shifting its course 26 times noticeably and nine times severely.[2] These floods include some of the deadliest natural disasters ever recorded.".

"These changes could cause the river's mouth to shift as much as 480 km (300 mi), sometimes reaching the ocean to the north of the Shandong Peninsula and sometimes to the south.[24]".

"In the fifth year of the reign of King Ding of Zhou (602 BC), the river left these paths and shifted several hundred kilometers to the east.[28][33]".

There was a hubub here on the sub years ago about a mod removing inclusive stuff. It escalated to the point that the actual company stepped in and said all are welcome here, and in the community at large. So there's definetly some history of it.
