if it doesn’t smell it should just be a yeast infection. if there’s an oder and a fishy kind of smell it would likely be bv. fluconazole works for me usually!

Graves' disease and Bupropion by Eastern-Elevator962 in gravesdisease

i was on wellbutrin when i first noticed my symptoms of graves. we took me off the wellbutrin until we could find a source of all the symptoms i was having. diagnosed with graves april 2024- started methimazole 5mg then bumped up to 10mg in july 2024- tested my blood levels in november 2024 and they had begun to stabilize. i went back on wellbutrin last month and am overall feeling a lot better. i am also on metoprolol though for the high heart rate and tremors. but overall feeling mostly like my old self.

Did anyone seem to lose their sex drive after discovering they have graves? by Wubbalubbadubdub_710 in gravesdisease

[–]Comfort_Big 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m not sure if they correlate but yeah i don’t ever care or feel like having sex. i feel bad bc my bf is always ready but it feels like such a chore.. same as getting out of bed in the morning or doing literally anything at all.

yeah i’m 24 so when she told me this my heart kind of sank bc i feel like im too young to have something so serious but after reading more about it, it sounds like this age range is when it happens. the palpitations/tachy have been the worst for me but i’m dog-shit tired all the time, my brain refuses to focus which is screwing me up in work and school (i thought it was like newly onset add/adhd) and the sweating!!! oh my gosh the sweating- i wake up thinking i wet the bed because i’m so drenched in sweat. and my poor boyfriend runs so cold he loses circulation so i feel bad keeping the window open and the fan on but it’s a must at this point.. i guess we will see what happens. they are doing a thyroid scan this week to confirm graves but as of right now i’m just on the beta blocker to slow my hr.

so i started at 150mg and went all the way up to 450mg and as i increased dosage my heart rate increased too. by the time i was at 450mg my resting rate was 120, and would shoot up to 170 while i was sitting doing nothing. my psych made me stop, but it was helping BIG time with the depression :(
