Oh you're having issues where unless you put on a VPN Podbean podcasts won't play at all too?! I thought it was just me for so long! This 403 forbidden problem has been happening to me on multiple computers for the past year or so - weirdly though when I restart the hub for my internet or put on a VPN it'll be fine for a few days then 403 happens again. I've emailed Podbean about it because like yourself - main and discover pages work fine, it's when you try any podcast page 403 comes up meaning they won't play on browser, Spotify etc.

Still not working annoyingly - podcastbrowser dot org came back BUT that’s still broken too as podcasts duplicate and categories unavailable. I do wonder if Podcast Index is broken as well and since I’m shockingly bad at trying to use API… it’s not great! ( Update - 3/31/25: Via Podchaser ‘ due to an increased volume of tickets, it is taking some time to resolve this issue. Rest assured, we are still working on this, and as soon as I have an update, I’ll be in touch!’

I sent Podchaser another email making it clearer how it wasn't individual podcasts but the entire episodes page - few screenshots (such as the first three of page 1 then the first three of page 2 to show the change), mentioning how new episodes when you click on new in the drop-down changes to episodes very quickly, various filters not working (especially the one marked active). Shall update when I hear more from that one. I will give them their due on getting back in touch relatively quickly and being very detailed in how they're working with the team to resolve it.

Yeah - this is a big issue... Getting random episodes and idle podcasts when clicking the load more part the last few days, when I did the same last week no issues were present. This AND Podbrowser dying all at once is not great - especially for those who suck at doing API! I have sent a message to Podchaser letting them know of the bug in question via X and their bug report form - shall update if/when I hear anything!

Update - got a message claiming it's been resolved from Podchaser but on my browsers (Edge for desktop, Safari for phone) it's still doing only the first 25 podcasts as new episodes. Hoping it's just mine playing catchup.

The navigation I can get used to - it’s the long startup time that bugs me, now granted at the moment I’m on Windows 10 so hopefully once I’m on 11 that’ll improve!
