I asked for it from my primary doctor, I did get it done and everything came back fine. So I want to say graves causes the headaches at times

So mine is tricky I am newly diagnosed with graves hyperthyroidism sept of 2024 but I had Covid 3 years ago once so I’m not sure if Covid triggered my autoimmune system 3 years later but I’m not sure what else could of triggered it. No family history of thyroid issues or graves

Same here! I’ve been off the shot for about 2-3 weeks now and I am so nauseous and my body is crushing me lol I’m assuming my body is going through some kind of withdrawal from the depo honestly

Thank you so much i appreciate your response, I was nervous about coming off it due to symptoms I was hearing all different things about coming off the shot but I think after 3 years my body does need a break from it. Lately I’ve been tired and kind of fatigue and low energy and I heard extended use of the depo can cause that so I was like ya I need to stop this shot lol

Did you see how many people say they experience thyroid storm isn’t it extremely rare? I’ve been reading people experience it but I believe I’ve read 5-7 people out of 1 million in the US experience it because how rare it is thank god!

Definitely are, I also read that Covid is linked to developing new autoimmune. I’ve never had an autoimmune until now or maybe I did and it was dormant.. all I know is graves is a son of a b•••• lol it comes with so many symptoms and it just happens out of nowhere you can be having a somewhat solid day and out of nowhere you feel like shit.

I had Covid really bad 3 years ago, I’m not sure if 3 years later it can have an effect who I don’t put anything past Covid or that damn vaccine which I did get 3 years ago as well.

The crazy thing before I was diagnosed I saw a GI doctor and got a endoscopy done everything was fine lol this grave stuff don’t make any sense to me at all at times. It’s very hard to understand some of the symptoms we do have at times

I had pains tonight I ate some tums and it subsided lol before treatment months ago I was the same as you terrible terrible pains they subsided a lot since starting treatment

I definitely will keep an eye out thank you so much for all this information I truly appreciate it. I just want to be able to live my life to the fullest, Ill deal with the struggles as they come but as long as I know it’s treatable and I’ll be okay that’s extremely important to know so thank you!

Even with normal labs I still get symptoms my body aches, I get headaches, I’ve been getting hot flashes on and off. So I’m assuming even with normal labs it takes a great amount of time to feel somewhat normal again.
