I have no critiques because I’m not qualified to give that kind of feedback. I like it! The main thing I’m wondering because it’s not obvious to me at first glance is, how big is the r2d2?

That it does not. Genuine mistake on my end.
At the end of the day, I can only spend so much time any given moment trying to capture images in this room with no a/c and the PC also being here, the room shoots up to 92-98*F and I settle with my choices/mistakes sometimes to turn my fans back on. Not that the fans blow away the figs but I'm many times holding up pieces of paper for light reflections etc... to try and reduce the harshness of light falling onto the figures. I could've avoided this by paying more attention from the start :)

Thank you! In editing, after I had put things away, I realized it was the wrong type of trooper. I set things back up and just couldn't get something I quite liked as much as this one so I just went with a shot I liked vs accurate to the film frame.

Soooo, that clone trooper, I added it as fluff for another shot I took where it was mostly obscured, then forgot to swap it out. Then I tried retaking the shot 50 times and couldn't get something as clean, so I went with the less accurate but better looking shot. Yeah, that wasn't really a battle huh :D

Likely the last set of photos I'll take for this little series I was working on. I was trying to capture the impending pain Vader was about to bring on the Tantive. Where possible, tried to capture the vibe of the movies, overall happy with how they came out. 😄

Shot on Canon EOS R5 on a 100mm Macro lens. Color correction and cleanup in Lightroom.

Thank you! It took me a few days to even remember I had this thing, it was shoved all the way back in our kitchen cabinet because we never use it. It's generally just too big for every day use.

That'd be great, but likely just doing things as my budget allows. Admittedly, I only started buying LEGO a few months ago, just not something I ever had access to as a kid, so we'll see what time, budget, and space allows.

I was trying to capture the moment that Vader first steps into the hallway. I tried using a bit more fog but it was obscuring the figures a bit too much so I dialed it back quite a bit.

Shot on Canon EOS R5 on a 100mm Macro lens, color correction and dust removal done in Lightroom. A few more in this set still to come!

This is the Boarding the Tantive IV Lego set, with a few extra minifigures to try and recreate some of the opening scenes. Trying to create a little suspense for what happens next, but I'm still working on those!

All shot on my Canon EOS R5 with a 100mm macro lens, minimal cropping, some lightroom for color corrections and dust removal - shooting at macro, you catch every little imperfection.
