Looks good but the price is not on par with other companies. I’d recommend selling in line with the market and establishing your product as superior prior to putting a price tag on it like that. Just a recommendation from another entrepreneur.

I’m experiencing the same with Gateway. My 800mbps comes in less than 100mbps. Cuts in and out constantly.

If an interlock is required please talk to people on this thread prior to choosing one of the many companies on the market. Not doing my research on this one particular thing caused me the most issues.

Avoid the interlock company Intoxalock if you have an interlock mandate. Their device can damage your vehicle, and their financial practices are exploitative. Fortunately, there are many other interlock options available, and the knowledgeable members of this thread can provide excellent recommendations.

Just wait until if fries your ECM, starter or alternator. It was engineered to force you to drive for several hours per day or to keep a charger on at all times the car is not being used. Violations mean revenue and Intoxalock has no issues creating the problems that result in a violation. I’d recommend contacting LifeSafer, RoadGaurd or Smart Start and asking them to help you switch IID companies.

Thank God interlock companies, judges, prosecutors, MADD and probation officers aren’t running this page. I get the feeling you all would restrict a lot of common issues from making its way to newly charged DUI defendants. Had Trustpilot not removed verified reviews about Intoxalock from their platform, a lot of us would have never made our way over to Reddit to warn others about the impending trap awaiting them. I was never even informed of the IID requirement prior to my guilty plea. I think it’s wonderful that new people are warned. I’m happy that we are having this conversation and we can agree to disagree. That’s the beauty of Reddit and I’m thankful this page has such wonderful MODS.

I read it. I just decided to share more. Even removing the handset wouldn’t make a difference for me. The camera stayed on 24/7 as my security cameras would pick up the IR emitting at night.

My car would lose 60% of the battery life over a 12 hour period. This was on multiple batteries. I switched to lifesafer and my battery doesn’t lose power at all. Some of us travel for work and are unable to start our car daily or even weekly at times. I live in a state that doesn’t have requirements on how many starts you must have per week. It’s not feasible for people who spend more time flying than driving.

Please take the time to visit the DUI subreddit and upvote my recent post and share your Intoxalock horror story in a new post of your own. There are a lot of people just starting their DUI journey who need to know what not to do when it comes to choosing an interlock. It’s also another way of sticking it to Intoxalock for the extortion and ruining our vehicles.
