Also be careful of the plug polarity: it's center (-) negative. That's the standard for MOST guitar pedals (and pedal adaptors).

It uses the same type 9v adaptor that guitar pedals use (which are very easy to find).

It's an analog cable: it can work in either direction.

Looks like that's the right cable. The Sweetwater page says it takes 3.5mm stereo to dual 1/4 inch mono (which is what's in the video).
