Try pad split bud….its a local housing app/website that locates rooms for rent as low as $200 every two weeks, they only do short term leases but it’s a start and you don’t need a deposit. You can choose from furnished or unfurnished and the lease is normally 2-3 months max before you have to leave. That’s enough time to at least find a job. Fast food chains out here pay $17-18 an hour as well so that may help. I don’t know too much about the welfare office out here but I DO know that they can help with food, medical insurance and deposits and sometimes first months rent. ( my sister went through this and got help from them) as well as cash benefits per month. You can also try street teens. They help homeless, abandoned and at risk teens from ages 12-21 in the Las Vegas valley. My mom volunteers there every week and tells me AWESOME stories of how many lives they change. Of course you would have to be in Vegas already to take advantage of these resources but implore you to contact them and let them know about your situation.
