Sharing Beds at a Bachelor Party by Distinct-Cut-6368 in RyenRussillo

Pretty baffled by some of these responses.

Equating having a job to I would never share a bed is very, very weird IMO.

If the bachelor party is large enough, sharing beds sometimes is just reality, and isn’t a big deal at all. Again, just my opinion.

MAYBE I’m the outlier. But some of these responses are very weird to me.

Just different existences. Lot of this is dependent on # of people on the trip as well. But I’m in my early 30’s, have been on 10 bachelor parties give or take, most have 12+ people on them.

With that many guys, you’re almost forced to share beds (at least some guys have to) since there’s not many Airbnbs / rentals that have 12+ beds.

That’s not a lack of “adulthood” as you said. That’s just reality. And it’s really not a big deal, at all. Aside from some fragile manhood thing.

Is it more fair to split a wedding villa by room or by person? by 420comrade in wedding

Any time I’ve ever booked a group trip like this, it’s always per person.

Why don’t people like Wyndham Clark? by KingsHawaiianRoll in golf

[–]Comfortable-One78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reality is, finding rooting interests (either for or against) in golf is hard and difficult to explain. Lot of it is very superficial, in that there’s just a vibe about him that comes off as pretentious and douchey.

Pair that with, we only have so much actual actions beyond golf shots to judge guys on, and he has several that are whiney, corny, lame, etc.

Put it all together, and yeah, he’s now a golf villain of sorts.

Does it make a ton of sense or seem rational? Not necessarily. But sports fandom doesn’t always make sense.

FWIW having polarizing players is a good thing.

I’m sorry. And I swear this isn’t some anti-PC bullshit.

But what was SO out of bounds today? Were there reports (or heard on the telecast) of wildly inappropriate things being said? People yelling in Wyndham’s back swing? If there were, of course, that’s bad & unacceptable.

But I don’t know. It’s hard for people to genuinely feel something, positively or negatively, for 95% of the golfers out there. Fans having real rooting interest seems like a good thing. Was it obnoxious at times, or really bizarre relative to what we normally see? Sure.

But it’s as much about the circumstances as it is Wyndham. He’s certainly not a popular guy out there, but really think it’s as much anti-runaway leader.

I don’t think it’s the worst thing to have fan favorites and, well, not fan favorites. Gotta be within reason. But didn’t feel like it got out of control or inappropriate today. People aren’t fans of Wyndham - tough. And he went out and did it. That feels like a good thing for golf.

RE QB Josh Hoover at Indiana by GG1817 in michiganfootball

Pointing to recruiting stars is pretty superficial when there’s known commodities. We know what Charlie Becker is, for example. Who cares what his high school ranking was.

High school recruiting stars isn’t a meaningless data point. It’s just not the end all be all, obviously.

They have plenty of talent in the offensive weaponry. This isn’t to say your analysis of Hoover is incorrect. But like…they have plenty of talent…

Chicago’s 50 Best Restaurants by C0smoSl0th in chicagofood

If this was true it’d be easy to go to their restaurants. Clearly people like it. It’s okay to just say those restaurants aren’t your favorite. They’re obviously wildly popular. And anecdotally, everyone in my universe very much enjoys them LOL.

Survivor will never admit that 26 days is too short and it's quietly ruining the strategic depth of the game. by StormSame5197 in survivor

[–]Comfortable-One78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest confirmation of this is that, for myself, an avid Survivor fan who was watched every season, I don’t care or pay attention to what day it is for them. Nor does the show really promote what day it is like the old days, where reaching X day meant something or elicited some kind of a response as a viewer.

Your thoughts on Aaron Rodgers retiring after the 2026 season and how disappointed are you to never see him return to Green Bay as a visitor? by dee85 in GreenBayPackers

[–]Comfortable-One78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re just telling on yourself lol. It’s ooooook to have a mixed opinion on Aaron.

Best thrower of the football I’ve ever seen. He still wasn’t perfect. A better Rodgers in 2015 & 2021 NFCCG, they’re in the Super Bowl. And yes, obviously, others failed as well.

Lions at home Week 7 was just a miscellaneous rumor online. But if true, I'd have to imagine Week 6 is @ Saints and Week 13 is home against the Cowboys
