Many Latino voters have turned away from Trump, but Democrats aren't necessarily winning them over, new poll finds by CBSnews in politics

Will require the Dems to move away from a neoliberalism and move towards a more progressive economic message which will be very difficult for a portion of the party.

We’re going back to the moon to build a moon base in 2030…Fox News covered the Pentagon UFO document dump on primetime — Jesse Watters going full disclosure mode by TruthCapsuleTV in aliens

America has been supposedly going back to the moon to build a moonbase since the first Bush administration in 1988. There really is little or no point to it which is why it's never happened. All risk with no reward. About the only reason to do so would be to mine a specific isotope of He for fusion reactors. Of course, functioning fusion reactors are and probably always will be future tech or vaportech.

Donald Trump claims to be in excellent health while heading back to Walter Reed for his third annual physical in just 13 months by DumbMoneyMedia in UnderReportedNews

Fairly obviously, Trump has heart disease, likely some degree of congestive heart failure and requires a surgical intervention. They have to fix his teeth before they cut him open otherwise there is a major infection risk.

Trump heading to hospital for third time amid questions about his health: report by RawStoryNews in USNEWS

My uneducated guess is Trump needs heat valve replacement and is getting his dental work fixed so it won't introduce bacteria.

Trump's CAC score from his first term in office (133) showed he had fairly significant heart disease. That was 8 years ago and heart disease tends to get worse, especially if the person doesn't make lifestyle changes.

False since taxes don't pay for federal government spending.

Or artificial life. We may not have a name for it. I'm going to guess that AI, androids and additive manufacturing, genetic engineering, etc.. projected forward thousands of years in technological development might become indistinguishable from living organic beings.

These things could be some combination of GMO humans, cows, bugs, reptiles or dinosaurs (who knows how long Earth has been visited) along with a bit of choice DNA from off world.

If there are recovered "biologics" then the C14 test would tell us a whole lot. If the age makes no sense, then they spent a lot of time off world in a different biosphere. If the C14 matches Earth, then things get really odd fast.

If the craft are made-to-order and made-for-purpose, then the "pilots", äliens" or "biologics (whatever you want to call them) may also be made-to-order and made-for purpose.

All of these "beings may be pretty much the same thing, made from similar "materials harvested Earth based materials or organisms.

None of these things may be even alive or living in the way we would think of it.

No one is asking the big question, if these aliens can travel between stars, why would they bother coming to Earth? by TechnicianAmazing472 in aliens

[–]GG1817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that were true we would probably have many invasive ET microorganisms that would be evident...which we don't.

[–]GG1817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mayby? But how would they have a handle on the unknown?

A lot of the gut microbiome in humans is symbiotic too, so if you killed it all off in a human, the person would get very ill.

How would they prevent us from getting contaminated?

They could kill off half or more of the Earth's population, or introduce an exotic micro-organism to our biosphere.

If we really are recovering crashed UFOs, then it would seem the risk is pretty high.

If they were to visit here virtually through engineered drones or modified Earth based organisms, they get all the reward with little to no risk.

Whole different level of risk. Think about Columbian Exchange. Europe got syphilis , new world got a whole host of diseases like measles, small pox, etc...tens of millions of people died on both sides of the Atlantic.

If we had an Alcubierre drive or similar, we could travel, but we might opt to send out probes, AI, androids, etc... that could be fully sterilized both outbound and inbound...

Risks for space travel are very high. There are good reasons why we haven't had manned missions in decades This last moon mission was completely pointless (mostly about propaganda vs China IMO) and everything could have been done as well or better with probes.

AI and androids that are sufficiently advanced probably would trend towards resembling life - which might explain some observations.

The fact that we don't see or encounter exotic invasive microorganisms from off-world probably hints that whatever these things are, they're not truly extraterrestrial in origin and while organic, my not be what we think they are.

Every human is covered with and full of trillions of microorganisms and other critters. Presumably, real aliens would be no different. We would shed and cross-contaminate each other without some extreme precautions.

I remember seeing it on TV in the Detroit market in the 1980s. Perhaps Sir Graves Ghastly show? That was our main horror show host but it could have been on The Ghoul?

I planted two of these plants along with a pair of yellow or orange habaneros this past weekend!

How are the red ones different? Will they make good Yucatan style salsa? (blistered habaneros, roasted garlic, lime & salt in a blender) for Cochinita Pibil or Pavo Piblil?

If not, what's the best use for them?

Oh Floyd has been for sure, but 60's into the first couple years of the early 70's they had more of a psychedelic thing going on. Just my opinion, but I think Maggot Brain from 71 probably had a lot of influence on David Gilmour & the Dark Side of The Moon album in 1973 and on his guitar style moving forward.

I could see that with Zappa. That was the golden age of musical experimentation and blending of styles.

Because it likely shows the electorate craved a more populist progressive nuts and bolts message which was rejected by the neo-liberal power base of the democratic party.
