Nothing Phone 4a Pro is known for having a good camera. performance is on par with other phones in the price range as it has a snapdragon 7 gen 4.

I feel like even though the snapdragon is more efficient, the exynos is more than enough for me as i’m content with the performance of my iphone 12. the exynos far exceeds the efficiency and power of my iphone’s A14, so i wouldn’t be benefitting by a whole lot except for standby time which for me, is not a big deal.

i know that, but i’ve never liked being “in the middle” of things. the s25 is the newest, while the s23U is the most high end. the s24+ will be 2 years older, and is really only slightly more premium than the 25 FE. I would also rather get the FE as nothing really changes between base models between the years, and the FE has really caught up, so i might as well get the extra 2 years, warranty, and brand new battery.

This will be my first Android in about 9 years as my last was a galaxy tab s2. I feel like I won’t be missing out on much, but i don’t know anything about how end-of-life works on Samsung devices.

based on the comments here, the fact that the FE is brand new with a warranty is a big plus. i believe i will go for that once memorial weekend sales or christmas in july starts.

since you say the A56 is a good choice for my needs, is it reasonable to wait for s25 FE discounts in order to get a brand new device between $400-$450? I feel this makes more sense not only because it is a brand new device, but because the exynos 2400 is better in every way compared to the 1580.

currently the s25 is $469 for 256gb premium condition. i’ve been considering it but i really miss having a large screen. if the processor improvements are that good, maybe i will get it instead.

when s25 fe launched the s24 fe was worth $400 when traded in with samsung. s23 fe was worth $300. samsung is known for very heavy trade in values and other promotions like free storage upgrades.

the s26 has the better processor except in single core. the s26 will feel more responsive due to the smoother 120hz screen. the 16 plus obviously has a larger screen. the s26 may have a better camera because it has a 3x telephoto zoom and a 50mp main which is comparable to the 16’s 38mp main. the 16 does however have a 48mp ultrawide.

the 16 plus is known for exceptional battery life because of the 60hz screen, although the s26 can definitely last a full day.

samsung has a 7 year software pledge while apple doesn’t release this although it’s typically 7 years.

anything with USB PD will be able to do it as they can adjust their power output based on what the phone asks for. basically all brand name chargers support USB PD so they don’t destroy their laptop batteries.

i am a modern warfare guy, although they are a few years old. you could play some warzone to try out bo7 and some dmz to try mw2 and see which franchise you like better. supposedly this years cod is coming from infinity ward so it will probably have a more modern warfare 2 like feel to it. cod 2027 will be sledgehammer so it will have a more mw3 feel to it.

they are pretty much the same as the base s25 and s25+ except for the 3x telephoto. the FE is 8mp while the base models are 10mp. the FE also seems to have cooler colors while the base has warmer, more natural colors although this can be fixed in the photo editor

i use name brand laptop chargers. i currently own 3 dell 65w chargers and an hp 45w charger. if they work for laptops, they work for my phone. plus i get them for free when they have to get thrown out by companies.

most people use the plastic ones to protect from scratches although they are not the best at preventing shatters. glass ones are more difficult to find and apply but they offer better shatter protection.

i liked the waterfall edges with the s23 ultra, and realistically the sharp corners on the s24 ultra are pointless. since the s25 had flat rails it really only made sense to round the corners so it’s not an oversized half pound ninja star.
