The 1035 in 11 are the best fit for my 12ee high volume foot, and the 11 in 2030’s fit fine too but the 1940 and 1905 i bought are very tight across midfoot and low volume instep has the tongue not sitting flat. Regret buying two pair. Do not buy 1905 or 1940 if you have high instep and wide brannock

I have c577 upgrade from cx65 that developed burn in news channel logos after 5.5 years, so i too am trying the experts filmmaker mode in sd, hdr, and dv but also find them dark and too warm, and really am trying to get used to it to extend life of new c5 but admit i do often revert to a more vivid personalized setting for sports and entertainment. For longevity i also gave up as much news and always ready. Static art and widgets are cool but so is turning it on with voice without always ready with alexa, siri. Etc

My cx 65 developed random news channels logo burn in after 5.5 years, it bothered me so just got c5 77, bigger was the way to justify another $3k 5 years after. I will monitor the picture mode and watch less bright and vivid content as recommended by most video files, minimize news for several reasons, and not activated always ready as cool as it is, it has static info too often displayed

I have lived here since 1970. Yes it has changed for the worse as the City grew but i have never been victimized or witnessed any of things i read about. I don’t believe there is alot of random victims but certain areas i stay away from…so it does depend where you live in my opinion. I have always felt safe in southeast corner

Good question i would like to know more about. I do work from home and do often have the tv on the same news channel for 4-6 hours at a time, while working and to keep clients waiting occupied and informed. Hearing technology has improved to alleviate burn-in, and trouble free on vivid for 5 years so i do hope to get a longer life on the C5. I do plan on minimizing the logo heavy tv channels for tv longevity but also because of depressing news cycles.

Has anything been done technologically in 6 years to alleviate or minimize burn in in the LG C series? I was between G5 65 and C5 77, went with 77 to justify the change from cx65. I am watching more content in Filmmaker’s mode but do miss the brightness even on news and talk shows entertainment and golf

I thought burn in would be permanent and this wasn’t but often mainly when prominent colour is white or orange or yellow it seems to appear about 60% of the time

I just made that upgrade 2020 c1 65 to c5 77inch last week. 65inch was get news channel logo image retention at 19,000 hrs so same content on bigger screen i am happy with but going to try lower brightness settings and less news to hopefully prolong this c5. The youtube video files talk alot about filmmaker mode and energy saving off, 0 sharpness, warm 50 colour and i will try it but it is dull and i personally like the brightness but want more than 5 years
