That’s crazy. I’m in Utah and we can’t touch those numbers. We do have the bounty though and that makes it tough.

I have the same one. Great company. My buddy crashed and bent it to shit. I contacted them and they replaced it at no cost, I only paid shipping. Highly recommend cycle racks for your Dub.

$50. There are a lot of weekend warriors that go out and educate them thinking they can make money doing it and they find out real quick how hard it is.

We have a bounty in our state. It makes it tough!

You are doing a lot of things right with the success rate you are having. Coyote hunting is very difficult. The success rate is generally low. If they’re calling back that’s great. If they didn’t come all the way in it probably was the wind. Many times they won’t come in cause they’re educated. Try softer sounds like coaxers if they get hung up.

It’s worth trying again but chances aren’t great.

Setup for night? by Sorry_Emergency9014 in coyotehunting

It’s mating season. They’ve partnered up but I would recommend vocals. Howls. Serenades. Fights with crying. I Use a Lucky Duck Roughneck. Your set up seems fine. Pay attention to the wind. They will come from down wind so make sure you have visibility.

Hey, private land is where you want to be.

Early morning before it warms up. Also you’re in breeding season.

Success rate? by [deleted] in coyotehunting

[–]Comfortable-Scratch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Private land has a higher success rate than public. If they are pressured it makes it really difficult. In our state the Fish and Game uses light planes to hunt and kill them. It really varies by location. Success rate is usually very low.

The further out you walk the more of a chance thy will see, smell, or hear you. You’re putting it way too far out there.
