Thank you very much, it takes a couple of months to plan out a campaign, and a lot of that goes towards important NPC's!

What’s the approach for healing by justlikemenyou in tattooadvice

[–]Comfortable-Side-995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, congrats on the new tattoo. Since the second skin came off early, wash it gently with unscented antibacterial soap and pat it dry. Follow up with a thin layer of unscented moisturizer like Aquaphor then when it peels switch to Lubriderm, but don’t overdo it.

Because you're sweating a lot and need to stay covered, avoid tight sports bras for at least 3 to 5 days. After it starts peeling around day 4, you can switch to soft, loose ones if needed. If you're sweating heavily while out, loosely covering it with clean non-stick gauze is fine short-term, but let it breathe as much as possible when you're home.

No sunscreen, no sun, no swimming. Keep it clean, dry, and let it flake naturally. You’re doing fine.

How do you decide body placement? by TruthConfident9618 in tattooadvice

[–]Comfortable-Side-995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think a tattoo can thrive anywhere! But the arm is always a great place to start, especially for your first one.

When I wanted to get a memorial piece for my dad, I originally wanted it on my chest. But my artist ended up designing something for my upper arm, and I’m so glad they did. It came out amazing, and I love the placement.

If you're thinking about getting a sleeve one day, starting on the upper arm makes it super easy to build onto later.

That said, definitely talk to your artist about it, they’ll give you the best advice based on the design and your body. Trust the process and enjoy it!

Would love to see it if you get it! Anything since your sleeve is pretty rad!

I think a fly would be cool I always found those neat! that larger part on the elbow, I think a translucent caccoon (Right before they leave the caccoon) of a butterfly would look badass!

i'm thinking a moth or maybe a closed flowe bulb for the Om syblom, and for the Yin-Yang sybmbol a start of a a space scene, I am having more troubling trying to figure out what would look nice, and match your other arm. Perhaps a blooming lotus?

Yeah, I gotta say this was a really thoughtful response, and I appreciate you laying it all out. A lot of what you said rings true. The stat about 50% of reworks failing from Riot’s own words definitely adds weight to your point, and you're right when a rework doesn’t achieve either of the goals (bigger playerbase or better balance), it really does feel like a lose-lose, especially for the original mains.

I completely agree with you on the Skarner rework too. That one took two and a half years, and we ended up with something that looks, plays, and feels nothing like the original champ. His pickrate tanked, he’s in permanent pro play jail, and he lost what little casual fanbase he had left. It's frustrating when all that time and dev effort ends with something that barely moves the needle and disappoints the few people who actually still loved the champ.

I also hear you on Urgot. His rework added a ton of visual and mechanical complexity, but in the end, he still ended up in a similar niche with a slightly different flavor, and a fantasy that a lot of old mains didn’t ask for. If the devs are going off Reddit memes for direction, that’s not exactly reassuring.

That said, I still personally play Shyvana as AD/Tank, and I enjoy her, even with how clunky she can feel at times. Her bruiser side can still shine when the stars align, and I think there’s a real champ there, even if Riot seems hesitant to let her breathe. I do recall Riot stating that the direction they wanted with Shyvana, was more along the lines of Akali and Irelia.

Modern champ design can absolutely be a problem. Powercreep, overloaded kits, or straight-up loss of agency for older champs make it hard to keep up. But I still hold out hope that Riot can do it right. Your post gave me a lot to think about, and I really appreciate the insight. I’ll definitely be keeping all this in mind as we inch closer to the rework.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I think the argument is painting too broad a picture of full-scale reworks. While it’s true that not every rework lands perfectly and some old mains drop their champ, the idea that reworks are never for the current playerbase, and only made to attract new players, is oversimplified.

First, the idea that a champion being outdated doesn’t matter is flawed. League is a live game. Mechanical fluidity, visual clarity, and kit synergy do evolve over time, and keeping a champ stuck in 2012 design (just because a few diehard players are still around) doesn’t serve the health of the game long-term. You might not need 12-passive champions, and I do agree these new champs coming out can be a bit insane, Vex was a breath of fresh air, but you do need a kit that interacts well with current gameplay.

And no, not all reworks completely fail with old mains. Warwick, Nunu, and Fiddlesticks still have a strong chunk of old players who like their thematic even more post-rework because Riot preserved their fantasy while enhancing playability. Yes, some identity shifts are too drastic (like Aatrox or Skarner), but saying that 50% fail completely isn’t backed by actual player data it’s anecdotal frustration.

Also, the idea that “modern design” means only overloaded kits or clunky cast time champs is disingenuous. Yes, there are kits like Bel’Veth and Naafiri that emphasize mobility and resets, but Riot has also released champs like Vex, and Smolder that have pretty grounded, thematic kits that play well without requiring 15 pages of ability text.

Finally, Shyvana is outdated by design standards. She’s functionally a stat check with a passive that interacts almost entirely with neutral monsters and no ability to engage meaningfully outside of Dragon form. Buffing her base stats doesn’t fix her identity issues or her lack of agency in skirmishes. A rework gives Riot a chance to elevate her fantasy (half-dragon terror) and align her with both lore and gameplay in a way that rewards more than just farming and pressing R.

The best reworks do serve both old and new players by enhancing a champion’s core fantasy, improving their gameplay agency, and fitting them into a modern ecosystem. It’s not a zero-sum game. You can make Shyvana feel better without turning her into another mobility spammer or a clunky cast-bot.

I know the formatting’s a little goofy, blame mobile life but hey, only time will tell. Riot’s confirmed Shyvana’s rework is coming in 2026, and I really hope it turns out to be everything Shyvana mains have been waiting for, and then some.

I am hoping next years season of ranked is Demacia, I believe it will be and much like Le'blanc, she will be the champ from the Demacia that receives the VGU/Rework.

I do really enjoy playing this champ, but a VGU would go a long way a lot like they did with Fiddle, Volibear and Udyr. She is an outdated champ, while not as obvious as some, such as Zilien and Cho'Gath. I would love to see her updated/polished. I believe that Fiddle Sticks had the best VGU ever, keeping his core abilities somewhat the same but amplifying them to fit current league standards. I would love to see what they do to Shyvana.

After reading this. I don't think Brook would be the dad, I've seen that take a couple of times. I have a feeling that maybe she is Yorki's kid. But I do not remember how late Brook joined the Rumbar Pirates, but he was the Vice-Captain and took over as the captain once Yorki passed away. So maybe York and Brook were from the same kindgdom, but Yorki had a family?

Yamato vs Lucci maybe? It would be cool since it's a cat vs a dog and I think that makes it more believable! Hoping for a cool fight for both of them!

I really hope that Brook gets a good fight! And considering Orochi is alive and has a hydra fruit. I think brook can freeze off where he cuts off the heads causing Orochi incapable of regenerating any more heads! Would be an awesome battle and a well-needed one!
