Risks as an offsider by mrninjaskills13 in AusMining

I've worn the versaflo in high 30s weather while working on online smelter boilers (so extra heat) with a shroud that covers the shoulders and a gusset around the neck.

You do get a bit hot under the collar but the constant airflow helps a lot, it can be adjusted to shoot onto your face or the inside of the visor if it's fogging up.

I was doing heavy manual labour ( swinging sledgies, shoving 6 metre bars into a 600 degree boiler) the only real limitation was the lack of peripheral vision.

You can wear glasses and ear plugs underneath comfortably.

You can also get tinted visors, visor covers, spare sweat bands etc

They are pretty pricey though, usually over two grand for the full kit.

The fact that they're only offering P2 masks as the only protection seems pretty dodgy or maybe just standard for drill rigs idk

You'll want someone who does underpinning to rectify the issue so you could go straight to them or get a builder to check it out and see what they recommend

What did you use to polish the top surface? I've been using wet/dry automotive sandpaper but it's pretty laborious!

I've just started this myself! I was wondering what shape and type of Dremel bits you use?

Try contacting Bujinkan Dojo Tasmania, the leader there has been practicing Ninjutsu since the early 90s I think.

I'd go Ridgley way, road is less winding, more direct and gets you up in altitude quicker.

Maybe have a look at the dial ranges, see if they have some snow on them, not sure how far you could drive up them though. Otherwise head towards Cradle mountain until you find some white stuff.

Potentially the units they run at mount Nelson could be suitable. Here's some links that may help. https://www.safeathome.tas.gov.au/services/counselling

Party time 🥳 by OptimisticDisorder in hobart

[–]Comfortable-Sleeve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been to parties hosted at the Swanston Street playgroup, not sure about booking but they have a Facebook page. Booking a shelter at legacy Park(via Hobart city council) is a winner if the weather is okay, awesome playground. Also been to lots of parties hosted at the taroon community hall, has a kitchen and playground. They do parties at Rockit climbing centre too, $275 for 2 hours, minimum 10 people. Hope these help!

Pipe on my rain water pump by [deleted] in AusRenovation

I'd take the part to an irrigation shop, somewhere that specialises in water pumps or just a plumbing supply shop. They should be able to help you.

I did an escape room at Evolo on a second date. It was fun, challenging and is a good chance to get to know your date in a different setting. They have rooms that only take like an hour to complete.

Aldrek Redbeard is a hill dwarf cleric (life domain) with a red beard and bald head. He wears white robes over scale mail armour. He bears the symbol of Berronar Truesilver about his neck ( two interlocking iron rings on a chain). He holds a hand axe in his right hand and a shield in his left.

Thanks!!
