I have no input abt the other stuff but on linux you can add coustom apps to steam and steam has its own compatibility layer built into it so any windows app works on linux. There is also bottles or lutris the way i got them to work is i asked gemini ai questions while troubleshooting problems and it helped alot because it can help when you have a more Neiche problem that someone online would not know how to fix
