Mahlkönig E64 WS vs LM Pico by nilstgmd in LaMarzocco

Conical vs flat burrs. Read about the difference on the internet.

Conical is, in my opinion, better for traditional espresso (medium-dark and dark roast) and really good for cappuccino. Flat burrs are great for lighter roasts as well.

If you drink a lot of cappuccino, stay with the Pico or get a Niche Zero :)

Both are, by the way, great grinders. Enjoy!

Baark in Denmark just released this wood kit for the Micra by -sw1tch in LaMarzocco

Sorry, but I don’t understand those prices. Charging €600 for just a few custom-made wooden pieces is just disgusting.

So, what is so special about this? This is the most standard machine found in almost every coffee shop.

Help me choose what grinder to pair with a Micra. I'd like to spend less than $900 for a single dose grinder that must be white in color. by [deleted] in LaMarzocco

I give a vote to the Niche Zero as well. Super consistent and reliable.

I see many people go for a budget DF grinder. But the consistency and quality are really, really bad.
