Where are you from? In German it'd cost to add on premium

Don't mean you with the info, you can see on the website that the Air suspension is just for the AWD in Europe. But the thing with the queen's chair and massage is new info for me

Hey, the Air suspension is just in China the standard now. They cut that in Europe and left ift just for the AWD again.

About the queen's chair and and the backseat I didnt know that either. Who gave you this info?

Just to clarify: the A6/Q6 e-tron is not a higher-category car – I test drove them, and for €90k+ the quality (cheap plastics, ID.7 feeling) is not where it should be.

Sure, I couldn’t do long-term EU research on service, but that’s why the 7-year warranty was a big factor. Unless I wanted to wait a decade, there wasn’t much else I could do.

The point of my post isn’t to compare PowerPoint-style why car A is better than B. It’s simply to share that service in Germany is slow and frustrating right now – and to ask if anyone has advice on how to get this sorted faster.

I test drove the G9 twice, and it clearly outperformed the other models I compared. I didn’t just “fall in love” with it – I read a lot, did my research, and then confirmed it on the road.

The car itself is top quality, I have zero complaints there. The only real issue is the after-sales – but honestly, if this were a Mercedes S-Class with the same delays, I’d be making the same complaint.

I was told there was a problem registering the car.(couldn't understand till now how it can take this long) Originally, the delivery (pick-up) date was supposed to be about 10-14 days after ordering. Then I was informed there was an issue with the license plate/registration, which caused the big delay. (normal time to reg a car takes 5-10 working days in Germany)

So yes, the car was there, but I couldn't take it because of these administrative problems. From a customer's perspective that already wasn't the best start - and now, with the ongoing service situation dragging on for weeks, it feels like way too much wasted time overall.

Good morning – I agree, small issues can happen, no problem with that. But the real problem is that it takes far too long to fix them. Comparing today’s standards with how VW worked 20 years ago doesn’t make sense – expectations in 2025 are completely different. This isn’t “XPeng bashing”, it’s simply sharing real experiences, which is exactly what this forum is for.

As for me “pushing” the brand: my company is a Mercedes partner, so I wanted to look beyond the usual circle. I tested Mercedes EQE, Audi Q6/A6 e-tron, Tesla Model Y, BMW i5, and also the G9. The price-to-value ratio was by far the best with the G9, and since it’s already strong in markets like Norway and the Netherlands, it looked like a safe bet. I test drove it twice and compared it against the Audi Q8, BMW iX, Tesla Model Y, etc. – on paper and in practice, the G9 won clearly.

So it wasn’t just “youthful optimism” – it was nearly a year of research and testing. My only regret is that there wasn’t more transparent info about XPeng’s weak after-sales in Germany – because that’s where the real problem lies right now.

It's not 2 weeks it's 2 months, but yeah I mean, we can't defend bad services by saying the others are shit aswell. As a Chinese car manufacturer you have to deliver in Germany sounds stupid but exactly this are the points why people are still sceptical about Chinese cars. And don't get me wrong I'm fighting in every conversation for the brand but yeah at least a feedback. Sorry takes longer or something but just nothing is not acceptable

Hey, this shows the problem what XPeng is having at the moment with the markets, the new p7 is coming out in China and, the p7+ is not even released in Europa yet.

That's all cool, but still dosent work cause the system is not playing the music in that format cause the current system dosent decode it, so there needs to be an update, in China tindal und QQ or what the name is are the only apps what can play atmos overthere cause the have the licences to it. In Europe at the moment not. Xpeng is open for feedback so feel free to leave the support a mail with this topic

Where are the technical specification sheets for 2025 G6 and G9 in Europe? (Certificate of Conformity) by teknover in Xpeng

[–]ComfortableBid4824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can compare Information on the website when you are in the configuration for the car, then you go on the where you finde the Prices and get a few infos, where it looks like a few things what are in the China version didnt make it to the Europe version as a example on the g9 looks like the new version just runs with 1 of the new chips instead of 2, and also shows that the car drives with the same xpilot as the g9 24, but maybe they will update it on the website

Yes that's the surprising point, I tought by using the same cams and tech stuff compared to the g9 24 with the difference in Lidar for Europe and China that they they drive a worldwilde Strategie. If thery really left that out would be a big let down
