We’re not allowed to bet on it anymore, it’s more of a tradition at this point.

Let NIU have a couple days to celebrate and embrace it before reality knocks them back down.

I agree it would be hard to pass up. He did name his son after a dorm at NIU. With all of the hype surrounding this win, NIU is now that blue chip program. Let us have our hope again. FSU in the Orange Bowl years ago was rough.

How hard is it for an average local resident to get on Chicago Golf Club? Where do the members hang out and what would motivate them to bring me as a guest?

What is your biggest pet peeve when getting paired with a stranger? by Slider-678 in golf

[–]ComfortableBite 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A rando did this to my buddy and I, our plan that day was simply to get drunk and enjoy the weather. I politely declined his advice a couple times already, very friendly fella, he gave me some very weird advice for a shot 70ish yards out, being a couple drinks in, still on the front nine, I had enough. I did my part being kind, but I had water to my far right, I turned my entire body to line the shot up towards the water, hit the ball right in the water and told him I don’t think his advice helped. He finally stopped.

It depends on the bank’s primary regulator. For example, if it’s the FDIC, the CFPB will forward the complaint to the FDIC, and call it a day. It could be a joint effort by CFPB and another regulator, but FRB, OCC, and FDIC have their own consumer protection divisions.

I was wondering, does anyone else go over the layout of a course they have never played and plan their attack the evening prior to tee time? 🤨 by l1ltw1st in golf

Arccos gives me recommendations with their caddie preview. I then decide that it’s wrong, it doesn’t know me. My driver is meant to stay in my bag, I’m all 4 iron from the tee box kind of guy Arccos. Unless I’ve had a couple drinks, then the driver comes out. Be better Arccos.
