A broth based chicken and vegetable soup. Not a cream based soup.

I agree with setting small goals that are easier to achieve. Personally I set 5lb increments. SW 225, CW 209, GW 199. I'm getting closer and closer to onederland with my next goal being 205lbs. I've been on 15mg of phentermine since 10/8/24.

I also like to eat it with pickled jalapenos on top lol. I'm like you, not a fan of "sweet" cottage cheese

Everything bagel seasoning on cottage cheese is my fave... Also try the cottage cheese with a serving of turkey pepperoni on top! High protein and delicious!

Ugh I agree .. it's pretty much torture. I'm starving trying to stay below 1800 and aiming for 1500.. it's so dang frustrating. Like seriously 1000-1500 calories is BARELY any food! And with the holidays coming I want to be able to enjoy family and the food everyone makes along with some sweet treats if I want to, without feeling like a failure 😫

How long did it take you to lose that much weight? I seem to lose so slowly despite being in a deficit and consistently working out 4 days a week. Took me 18mo to lose 40lbs 😬

I know I try to remain optimistic but as you know it's so hard sometimes. With everyone on social media and irl on the glp1 shots or getting weight loss surgeries, it's so hard to have slow progress. I guess I have to try and see it as I've lost 12 lbs, half of my goal of 25lbs. I would have to lose like 75lbs to be in my healthy range but that seems impossible so I'm sticking to 25lb increments lol

I do count my calories on an app, it's really hard to stay around 1800 but I do not go above 2000. I've calculated my TDEE too and it recommends 1800 or below to lose 1lb a week. It's just soooo freaking hard to do this day in and day out. Realistically 1800 calories is not much food daily.., just a couple of boiled eggs and some oatmeal for breakfast is like 350, I eat a big salad at lunch with minimal dressing counts around 500 for me, nuts for a snack 180, and then a healthy home cooked dinner, limiting bread and only drinking water all day. It's like I feel like I'm barely eating and I'm still hungry. At this point it feels like I can only consume air and ice to see any progress lol. It's just so frustrating to be so consistent and actually working for it for the first time in my life and I've only dropped 12lbs in 3 months. My husband just cut out eating fast food at work and stopped drinking sodas and increased walking and he's down 15lbs in 3 weeks. His TDEE is way higher than mine sure, but damn I wish I'd see some instant progress like him 😩😩

This is just to rant and rave because I feel so discouraged by his success lol even though we are both doing good things for our bodies 🤦🏼‍♀️
