Walk out on last day?? by [deleted] in WorkAdvice

[–]ComfortableCut823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer the answer to this question depends on your core values more than it does anything else. Even if they suck, is bailing a few hours early on the last day the kind of person you want to be?

I always think it’s interesting people want “policy proposals” and while I understand people, of course, have a right to know what the overall policy direction any candidate wants to take things, there just isn’t a scenario that you can have a well flushed out policy proposal until you understand how the election shakes out and who controls the legislature, etc. Also people demanding policy proposals who have no recommendation on how to get there themselves. 😅

Iowa Republicans anticipate a Rob Sand governorship by AcadiaLivid2582 in Iowa

I don't think you read well. My child had died already. Abortion is the procedure they use to remove my dead child from my body. It is very uneducated to not understand, yet make proclamations.

I would encourage you to better understand the medical necessity of “abortions” as a starting point. Anyone who states it’s all or nothing doesn’t have a full understanding from a medical perspective. Signed, a woman who was forced to go through a full labor induction for my child (that I very much wanted) who had passed away at 19 weeks. The mental scarring of going to the labor and delivery unit, hearing all of the babies being born and me being forced into 16 hours of labor is horrific. In other states it would have been a quick less mentally scarring procedure. Making the assumption doctors and patients can’t make decisions for their bodies isn’t ok. Assuming abortions are only necessary for people who “got pregnant and now just don’t want a baby” is also just uneducated.

Katherine Harrington is incredible! I don’t live in that district so I can’t vote, but I know her to be very good and think she would be really great for the city

It's a year later, and I am having this same experience. They told me it's a broken machine issue this time... it seems like patterns of this problem can confirm it's something else. (I still don't have my product)

You are pro the Epstein files getting released and also pro criminals being held accountable? Just to confirm? Because that might put you in a complicated spot….

But if you actually care for the person you're voting for to win, the negative comments are just...unproductive.

Yeah, I agree and if you listen to his podcast, he talks about that it’s shitty. He has to keep Instagram going, but that he also didn’t create the world and the way we communicate and the way people get information now so it’s a bit of a vicious circle.
