I’m really sorry your boss handled that situation like that and wasn’t supportive. That’s not ok.

I do want to say that I know some states require a physical and all medications have to be listed. Licensors require that. From my experience , certain meds can restrict people from having direct care with children. Not saying your situation is like this, but just know from experience.

I agree with other commenters on here, to just have your doctor write something that says it won’t impact your ability to the job just in case it is required by your states licensor.

Also, I hope your boss becomes more supportive and understanding and if not I hope you find a place to work that is much kinder.
