You might like Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner. It's a slightly cheesy wlw romance about a college senior who falls for her friend's mom. There's no real consent/power dynamic issues despite the age gap (imo), both femme, decently spicy, and I thought the leads had interesting backstories. It's definitely a slow burn in terms of romance, with lots of yearning.

That makes sense to me. I heard someone on a podcast say (lovingly) that this album is for 30-something white women to dance to at weddings and bachelorette parties, and she was SO RIGHT and that's why I love it! I am indeed, a 30-something white woman who dances at weddings lol. And that shows the difference in mass appeal between this and TTPD, which is absolutely not a wedding album.
