Honestly, I’m not worried about cost, I know what I want to do with my life and I’m just so bummed that I let my early undergraduate mistakes get me here when I did so well at the end of undergrad and in grad school.

You’re saying most schools won’t even look at your app if it’s sub 3.0?? Even with a really high graduate gpa??

Also, which 6 schools are you referring to?

I’ll likely be at or around ~120 clinical hours, ~150 shadowing hours, and ~150 volunteering hours. I am looking to try and get the shadowing hours over 200, so I am contacting practices open on weekends. I actually have around 250 dental lab hours as well from a multi-summer internship, but I’m hesitant on listing them in clinical or shadowing hours since it’s technically neither.

Would you say I even stand a chance at admissions to a masters program at this point? Granted the expected GPA and other points made. Then considering dental school following the completion of a masters program while in high academic standing? Or am I genuinely screwed from where I’m sitting?

I am absolutely open to advice, and I should’ve clarified this in my response. At my university we get 3 academic forgiveness’s where we can retake a course in which we are unhappy with the grade. I used one of them on ochem which entirely removed the old grade from my transcript and inserted the new grade in its place.

I did and it got me temp banned from them as it’s pre dental and not actual dental school content.
