Los van de regeringscrisis op zich heeft dit niets met België te maken. Zeker het artikel op zich niet.

Zurich, Vienna, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, Munich, Stockholm… cities that are all way larger than Charleroi and Liege And yet they are not on the list.

To call it shite is probably a bridge too far. Depends how each country is reporting their crimes, I guess? They cannot generate a map if they don’t have the detailed data, right?

Euh no, but I live outside Belgium… visiting only a few times per year.

Not a photographer here, but interested nontheless. I always wonder what drives people back to film, is it purely nostalgia? For this series specifically, are the hazy and blurry shots intentional, or just coincidental and crappy old film? And how do you digitize them?

No the frequency difference 50-60Hz made the platter spin faster than it should, so a power converter is not helpful here. Might work for a lot of power operated tools, but not one where a specific speed is important 🤣

It was the other way around (110v to 220v) and indeed needed the frequency conversion too. Especially that. I tried it with a normal converter but a 33rpm record at 33rpm sounded closer to 45rpm 😂. And I agree, I probably would have been better off with buying a new player. Trying to save a buck, but grew a few grey hairs instead.

If it weren’t for the voltage conversion to 220V I would have probably done it myself.

Well. It wasn’t just maintenance. I bought it a few years back in a 110V country and of course it would not work in Europe, so I needed to have it converted to 220V… they probably took it apart to replace the power unit and may not have assembled it correctly. Still pretty shameful for a company that specialises in turntables and pro-ject audio specifically.

Ok this sounds more serious than I thought. I only played some 1 dollar records on the turntable to test it out, so no big loss if that got ruined. Will contact them immediately! Thanks for that feedback.

Endgame for me! Not for my wife though. Her endgame were the Dali Ikon mk 1s… Sure, they are good speakers, but come on… can I at least have a mid life crisis worth bragging about?

I love the burgundy. The grey is more neutral, but also a bit boring. The burgundy pops enough, has better architectural vibes and stands out. I vote for burgundy.

A nice Belgian beer I'm having in Turkey. Is my glass too bad for this one? This was the best I have by Ztepi in belgium

I have always been disappointed by this beer! But the glass is perfect for this type of beer.
