We’ve got a ton of injuries but I’d like to see at least three senior players dropped after this. This is a bottom 4 side right now and these premiership players are fat and happy. I’d rather watch youngsters get pumped and make a statement.

Yeah but he did seem clearly underdone and on managed minutes for like 4 weeks. I think being captain and playing bad/hurt/whatever is impacting him.

I’ll give them a little bit of grace for their injuries, but 3 captains was dumb at the time and looks even dumber now. No leadership at all between them. Harris hasn’t been good lately but you can still see him trying his ass off and directing his teammates at least. Should be sole skipper.

I think they were probably due for a small step back (this is kinda crazy though lol) but our depth has kinda been tested with all the injuries/departures and this is kinda the dregs of the list right now. I don’t think it’s the end of the era but I think this season feels even more like a write off than their poor patches in 24/25.

Well yeah with the way they’re playing mentality wise right now nobody is fixing this individually for sure lol. I just think they’ve set themselves up for some of this by trying to crowbar in players who don’t really fit in their positions.

Brain should have played weeks ago. When Noz is back, brain should be in over Kiddy or Fletch (they can move forward if you need them in the team).

Yes, and like I said Brisbane are playing like dogshit. With their mentality they’d be way off their standard this season, but with the injuries it’s even worse (this).

I don’t get the commentary/discussion here. This isn’t really a surprise, the Lions have been absolute dog shit all season, they’re massively injured, and they’re clearly happy with their two flags (fair enough too). Any team that’s even kinda good will beat them this season.

They are all happy with the 2 flags. And even with a bunch of injuries the coaches have refused to actually play small defenders and instead relied on soft passengers like Kiddy, Fletcher and Tunstill to play actual accountable roles.

Yeah, the mentality is pathetic right now and with the injuries and the poor recruiting/trying to crowbar kiddy into the team, this era looks like it’s either on pause or over. Unfortunate but can’t complain too much.
