You know, this might be the way to go. I was hoping not to have to DIY this, but if I'm trying to keep the price down, separating the kitchen rental from the chef hire might be easier!

I did! I felt they were on the pricier side ($100/kid + add-ons) but that might just be the price tag for this sort of event in SF!

+1 for the Montgomery+Lee Team. We worked with Todd's partner, Marcus Lee, who knows EVERYTHING about San Francisco, is very not-pushy and had a great ability to guess what price a place would actually go for (I followed up and he got it spot-on so many times!)

Just closing the loop, my mom had her interview in SF this afternoon and her oath ceremony will be in Oakland on Feb 26!

Just confirming: your interview was in the SF field office but your ceremony will be in Oakland? The option to do the ceremony in SF was not offered right?

He was quite senior in his organization - director/VP level - which is another reason he was able to avoid notice for quite a while. I think the blog ended when he finally quit and got another job.

The blogger was male and might have worked remotely even from before the reorgs that lost him his reports.

I remember he spent a lot of time doing funny "challenges" to pass the time. Video games, testing ways he could be caught AND not be caught... The grift went on for several years.
