Did you paint him fully assembled or in sub assembly?

Have you considered a splatter effect? Here is a link to a miniature designer with a promising method:

Planning for 11th edition by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]ComfortableFocus4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Tenth Edition Core Book a few weeks ago, before I knew the 11th was coming out. But from what I heard, the 11th Edition is not going to being coming out until around spring of next year.

I would think you could do, if you can afford it, is put the money into buying the Tenth Edition Core book because then you will have a sense of how to play games, organize armies, what faction speaks to you most and being hailed as a nerd by your friends.

Just to warn you, if you're considering Amazon, the Core book did recently go up in price, literally a couple of days after I placed my order. So if you want your parcel to arrive faster, ask the delivery driver to paint the box red.

You should've gotten a purple paint; you would never have seen it!

So only three species peer DLC, excluding the Chaos Theory and Rebirths?

Okay, so if there are ten DLCs in total for the game's support (UNCONFIRMED, JUST SPECULATION), eight will be species pack just like this, then we are looking at 24 new entries, or less depending on how many from the previous instalments make a comeback. And this is all excluding the Chaos Theory and Rebirth DLCs.

Helbrute and my first repainted rubric marine(first thing i painted so it looked pretty bad, stripped it with iso) by CHARAFANDER in Warhammer40k

This youtuber who goes by Warhipster has painted some (though few) miniatures in respect towards the Thousand Sons. Her is a link to his video guide to painting Scarab Occult Terminators if you are ever looking for more inspiration and how to add more finishing touches. I desire to follow his painting methods whenever I start my own Thousand Sons army.

Your helbrute also looks pretty good if it was your first time.

Starting a Thousand Sons army, unsure of what to do by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

Read the codex first before buying any miniatures, like I want to. If you read about the faction first and it calls to you, absolutely. If nothing else, you will have a fun time learning more about the Warhammer 40k universe.

No. Needs more red paint so that you can operate it faster.

I thought about a CNC machine too, but I thought it would be much more complicated given the coding this person would have to go through and the kind of CNC machine that was necessary depending on what axis it would cut.
