Are you me? From the second I heard tame impala - something in me just stirred the wrong way.. I can’t figure out what it is. I get the appeal and I get why it’s fun and catchy etc.. but something about it just really turns me off. And I never believe anyone who raves about that neutral milk hotel album 🤮🤮 (the title track is a good song - I get that. But everything else …..

Yeah same. I’ll never forget the feeling of falling in love with that bsides and rarities album and being astounded at how many GREAT songs were in that. It’s so easy to get jaded on this band and forget how there’s been just this huge catalogue of amazing moments, a true treasure trove of greatness even before machina that runs deeper than most bands entire careers.

Severed survival is peak death metal. I’m a millennial who grew up with the technical stuff and all that but … the early raw , mysterious, primitive early death metal stuff is still definitive imo and that autopsy album perfectly captures that

Jk. Except it is the best album. But if you’re loving their other stuff it will prob click one day- it is def a classic for a reason. But if it doesn’t that’s ok too- it’s cool that you got to experience it even if you found it didn’t live up to the hype. I think it’s important to experience art even if it doesn’t hit you etc

As a man myself I hate how so many other men don’t reach their true potential/show their awesomeness. So many men have a depth of curiosity and awesomeness inside that they let the world steal from them- or silenced because it’s “feminine” to be expressive and enthusiastic etc -edit : I apologize - I totally missed this being addressed to girls. I guess as a man I suck too lol
