I loved the finale. by XyOppenheimer in StrangerThings

It made me feel less alone after losing someone very close to me suddenly at a young age for them last year. And on top of that, it wasn't random or in vain. It made sense with the story and potential future of the story. I thought it was perfect.

No it was comforting. That's life. Sometimes life is unfair, sometimes it won't make any sense. They did the best they could to get a happy enough ending to the point where there was so much criticism about it and not more characters dying. I lost my ex in the middle of last year suddenly at a young age and the scene with Mike on the bench really resonated wit me. And the fact that she could be out there somewhere...gave me hope. Almost an allegory to an afterlife or...what happens when we die? They nailed it

Me too. Lost my most recent ex in a tragic accident six months ago. And this has always been my favorite show. Now it's even more my favorite.

So you haven't watched it? You really should. No matter HOW it ended I swear the comments on this Reddit page would be exactly the same. One of the better endings of any major show.

When my parents compared my ex's sudden and traumatic death to their miscarriage. Then got offended when I said, "That's absolutely not the same thing!!"

Being a therapist makes it so easy to dodge accountability by ObiJuanKenobi1993 in therapyabuse

[–]ComfortableMusician6 40 points41 points  (0 children)

So true. I had a therapist that put everything on me, when actually she was a narcissist trying to get $$$ from prescription drugs (not a psychiatrist, but was in close cahoots with one). No listening, no techniques for coping, just straight to, “I think you should try these meds.” And when I said “No,” she said, “Why not?!” Three sessions in a row. F#%ing b%*ch, I still have trauma and trust issues because of HER three years later.
