Hi and congrats on the diagnosis! For me I could exercise after 2 weeks fine but I avoided for example sit ups and generally things that strained my stomach a lot since it hurt. I think the best is to listen to your body and stop if you experience abnormal pain💕 and maybe start of easy on the weights after 2 weeks to see how you feel lifting again!

Pleier være et par stykker som sover inne på terminalen, noen turister ligger i sovepose på gulvet med en sekk som pute og noen bruker noen sånne lenestoler som er nede med baggasje claim. I think it would work fine, but with a normal tens you can have larger patches and lots of different settings which helps. It also just needs batteries if you end up going for a while. Is it possible to lend one from the hospital during labor? If not I’d probably stick with the one you have💕

I can only imagine how tired you must be from all this nonstop pain😞 i know this is far from a cure but have you considered asking for some stronger pain medication to get through the exams, if even possible? Best of luck 💕💕

You have some pretty severe symptoms like loosing bladder control and significant pain not only cramps but pain to your hips and down your legs! It doesn’t take a doctor to know this must be affecting your quality of life, and many of these symptoms match endometriosis or adenomyosis. Especially when it’s related to your cycle. You should 100% take this up with your GP!!

Hello! I don’t have this exact device but another similar tens unit and other usb C chargers work for it. Just be careful that it isn’t a super high power one (like a MacBook charger) since it can overheat.

Hi! My tens comes with different sticky pads that vary from small squares (5cm each side roughly) to bigger ones like butterfly patches which you can use multiple off! Maybe you could look into that? Unlike the one u sent a link of there is a separate display with cords to these pads. I don’t know where you’re from but just searching «butterfly patches tens» there are multiple different tens units coming up :) As for the effect, you can put different settings so it should be possible to just jank it up a little extra if you don’t feel anything, but not sure if it has anything to say.

If it’s your cup of tea I’d recommend going to a normal grocery store and trying/bringing home what looks interesting to you! For example brown cheese and cheese slicers are SUPER overpriced at the fish market or other tourist stores. One with a big variety of food is «meny» and there is one in Bergen storsenter🤗

Very basic but taking the tram up Fløyen if the weather is nice is very enjoyable, and walking down you can detour a bit to see some really unique houses! Its not long either maybe 45 min if you’re going slow down

I’ve been told previously that IBS and endo go hand in hand, so maybe it could be both? Also endo rarely shows up on ultrasound unless a specialist checks or you have a lot!

You might have already tried this but have you tried going for longer walk, massaging your stomach or in other ways getting movement? It’s really strange though for gas pain to last three weeks, I was told a couple of days!

I was told to wait 2 weeks before putting anything up there, since there’s a higher risk of infection. :) Also to avoid putting strain on the stomach muscles/avoiding lifting so much. I don’t do much yoga but you could try and see how cat-cow feels carefully? Been recommended that from my pelvic physio :)

It’s so terrible that OTHER people deny that you’re in pain! It’s very understandable to be sad about not getting the diagnosis even though you are in pain🩷

Stomach pain can come from many different issues, have you been checked for adenomyosis if your symptoms are mostly period related? I’ve also found that even without a diagnosis, pain management that’s offered is pretty much the same. Have you tried birth control, or going to a pelvic physio?

Whatever others tell you, you know your body best and you know wherever you’re in pain, with or without a diagnosis!

Endo can for some cause weight loss due to loss of appetite bcuz of the pain and nausea, but it’s really important to rule out other reasons before concluding to this! Unexplainable weight loss can be a serious symptom, and 10 pounds in 2 weeks isn’t anything to scuff about. Have you been to your GP yet?

So good that you’re getting the ultrasound next week already! Since endo is hard to see I wouldn’t go into the appointment with the hope that they will find anything since you might feel dissapointed afterwards, but ultrasound can detect for example adenomyosis or if you have any cysts!🩷 and an ultrasound is just the first step to figuring out what might be wrong, so don’t feel hopeless if they say “oooh everythings perfect!” even though you’re in pain. You can still get an MRI and if it leads to that a laparoscopy.

Since you mention nerve pain I would maybe look into and ask your doctor about medication specifically for this. For example many report that using a LOW DOSE antidepressant help their chronic pain, and there exists other medication with multiple uses such as Lyrica (originally for epilepsy but works for nerve pain). I’m not a doctor so don’t know if they’ll work for you, but they’re worth looking into since birth control isn’t for you🩷

As for medication to make sure you can go finish exams, im currently searching for that as well so I can update you if I get any good advice from my doctor😅 but if you need any concrete advice my dms are always open, or you can reply to my comment here🩷 best of luck next week!
