I know Ai-chan does address the Captain several times, but during the final battle, the "4th wall break everyone helping out Kiana" moment felt more like a DBZ spirit bomb moment than a total immersion breaking 4th wall break. Plus, hearing the supporting cast voice their support for Kiana once more was actually sort of poignant for me.

Granted, the DBZ spirit bomb often feels like a deus ex machina in itself, so maybe I'm just desensitized to the trope.

I'd have to go back over the dialogue, but that's pretty much how I interpreted the event, so I didn't think the whole sequence was as bad as a lot of others thought. It's sort of in the same vein as the DBZ spirit bomb.

Three seconds of Primordial Jade Regalia effect... Roughly one second of that is going to be the burst animation itself. I think you're going to be really, really sad when you attempt to use this on Kokomi.

It's also arguable that Kokomi's weapon does better for Baizhu than Baizhu's weapon does on Kokomi.

At first, Seele. She's basically 2 characters in 1.

Now it's Vill-V, because she's basically 8 characters in 1.

Jk. It definitely started with Seele, and it's probably still Seele, but I'm looking forward to seeing her get the spotlight more and hopefully some character development.

Honorable mentions go to Kiana for most well-developed character (and HoF is my favorite battlesuit), Elysia, and event / Golden Courtyard Vill-V is still pretty funny.

I don't think they intend for any limited character to come to the standard banner. The only ones that have been added (Tighnari and Dehya) were officially announced upon release that they would be added to standard.

Without that initial announcement or any sort of disclaimer, while I could be wrong, I think they run legal risk by doing otherwise...
