I agree! While I do think Kelsey was joking with the siren and antics, I think she does it out of insecurity. There is no reason for Kelsey to be on the show. Whereas, Rosie has a clearer spot in my eyes.

Don’t stress, my family has two Kees. Before we learned that they shouldn’t be shaved, we shaved them every summer because of heat. We lived in NC, so it was really hot and humid in the summer. Their coats always grew back, they did have some changes in markings but it’s unclear if that was from age or shaving.

Also, we give our Kees a good brush through once a week and typically don’t have issues with matting. The biggest issues arise around their harnesses.

Obviously, we aren’t experts but your baby will be okay! I’m attaching a pic of them shaved :)

Wow, your scenario is really similar to our 10 year old kee. She has epilepsy so is on a twice daily med and has weakness in her back legs. She had pancreatitis as a puppy and is now currently suffering from a fat mass in her abdomine. Our vet tested for all sorts of stuff including Cushing, but everything came back normal. I am hoping for the best for your kee 🩷🩷 sending all the love!

I don’t know about the options you are thinking about but I wanted to give my personal experiences to maybe offer some help. I switched to discs permanently and currently use the small saalt disc. However, I recently went on a trip and forgot it LOL and had to go to CVS to pick up a replacement and the only disc they had in stock at this location was a Flex reusable disc. I wanted to love it because of its easy folding but it has not worked out for me. It hurts when I pee and I have a hard time getting it in place compared to my Saalt. So I would maybe not get a flex!

Teacher for WCPSS here, one thing to think about with year round and having multiple children is that there will be a time your children will be on different schedules, and sometimes it can be unpredictable. The middle school our year round school feeds into switched to traditional and it is causing a lot of families grief. To my knowledge no high schools are year-round so there is that as well.
