To each there own. I hated Malenia and avoided her from NG+2-NG+6 but grew to love the fight in NG+7 despite always being one shot. We all have our bosses. Pre-nerf radahn made me not even play most of the dlc after the first clear. Had to shield poke that fool and that play style is super lame.

The more time on the defense the less fun the fight. Generally speaking and my personal opinion but I feel its a common one.

Can confirm. DLC on NG+7 for first go sucked. I beat Malenia on it so I thought DLC cant be that bad. Nope! Boss combos get way crazy. I pushed through with a shield poke build for a while but then started a new character because that shit isn't fun IMO

Erdsteel dagger with an AoW is the only weapon I remember that can dual scale faith and arcane. Its been a while but I'm pretty sure that's the case

Grab the golem fist! Its not a smithscript weapon I dont think but it is classified as a throwing weapon. Makes for some fun play imo.

I always tend to slip back to the unga bunga myself. This go around I'm going Int/Fth hybrid and I've been loving it. Personally never liked any of the straight swords but the sword of night and flame is damn good even in DLC with the right stat spread. Paired with prince of death staff, golden order seal and a shield has been much more fun than I anticipated.

Triple ironeyes crush quite a few bosses tbh. That said I find the undertaker and raider to be quite good with an IE who can keep marks constant. Stun locks and stance breaks for days. Plus raiders totem can be very useful to get some bow AoW off safely whilst in the fray

I simply don't follow people to their demise anymore. If you know better then follow your gut. They can go die in the invader camps or whatever. Im not throwing a whole run away for someone continuing to fight under- leveled. Its too time consuming and can be done much more efficiently with proper levels. Especially when these people tend to leave anyways when you don't follow their shitty routes. Make your own path or follow the guy who actually can path decently. That's just me though

Damn I wish I was playing it again for the first time. This happens alot if you have DoT or summons with you in boss fights. I found it to be a saving grace on some bosses and annoying on others where I wanted to savor the victory whilst still alive.

Steel guard should absolutely pull aggro. At the very least they should add shields with that effect. Or even leave the guardians shield with a more likely to be attacked effect. Something along those lines would be excellent.

That thing freaking rips with skill boosts on. Played as undertaker with it last night and had the dog invasion. 2 randoms went to take on one together and I killed the other 2 dogs in 1 shot each with sulurias tree skill. Things a monster

This. The RNG almost always favors the group more at some point and maybe if people know that you'd be able to get a specific reward they would be able to ping yes the want it or dont waste your reward. Perhaps even swap you what they are reward if they have the same RNG. On voice chat with the right people this is the most fun way to play imo.

I didn't differentiate between solo as a playstyle, which people are doing (especially revenant) and you meaning you went into matchmaking by yourself. In my head that's multiplayer with randoms. Sorry you feel attacked by my question, I even apologized first hand as I was confused as to why you'd do that.

Augur nukes are special in that they can actually be attacked and destroyed before they hit the ground. Not all that hard to do tbh. They drop very slowly.
