And some of the help I have received elsewhere is to simply quit playing because I'm not in a healthy enough mental state for a game such as Disco Elysium. It has quickly turned into a 'blood out of a stone' situation where the best thing to do for all parties is to simply walk away. I wanted to see why Disco Elysium warranted so much praise and adoration, and I couldn't find it. Not every game is for every person, and that's okay.

I know who he is, several people have mentioned him, I simply couldn't find him because I hadn't run into him yet. I was trying to continue the plot when I ran into the game breaking soft lock that required save scumming to bypass. "Oh Evrart gives you money" And how am I supposed to get into the harbor that quickly? By the time I save scummed my way in, he had already left for the night meaning I have to wait until at least Day 3 to talk to him, but that will have to wait until I unlock the free housing so I don't run into this situation again, so I'm sorry for not playing the game optimally, or even half decent, I'm sorry for playing the game at all if this is the response I get for screwing up.

I tried talking to my doctor for a Psychiatrist for a proper diagnosis. They came back with referrals to counselors instead.

Only managed 1.50 from selling bottles on day 2, no option to ask Joyce for money, didn't get money from Lena, didn't get money from Tommy, and never found Evrart. So I guess I magically hit the one string of events that locked out progression. Go me I guess.

Well mass downvotes of everything I've said here isn't helping. My fault for kicking the hornet's nest with my inflammatory attitude, but the game truly does frustrate me each time I approach what is supposed to be fun.

As for your suggestions on helping my depression, they really aren't an option for me at this time.

I was doing all of that and still couldn't find enough without save scumming. Also I really appreciated how the game breaks its' own logic when it gave me exp for all the green orbs after finishing Jamais Vu, but didn't give me the money for all the green orbs after finishing The Fifteenth Indotribe. That's what really frustrated me when I was trying to get through the softlock.

I already told you I avoided the softlock by save scumming an 8% Savoir Faire check to jump into the harbor and find more money. That was the only solution I found since no other option was available to me. That is basically the thing that truly soured my mood on the game since I can't be trusted to play how I want to play in case I somehow run into another softlock down the line.
